@@abyadhnip6929 we‘re talking about HGSS though and not SUMO; Have you ever played through HGSS? You cannot win the red without either crazy grinding, cheating or cheesing it hard (also the elite 4 and kanto gym leaders will be partially difficult due to the higher levels too)

They just decide that newer entries should have more exp gain so newer players will still be able to enjoy it. As an old player tho, I was just sharing my experience with pokemon sun and how easy it was for players who are used to grinding.
Such a shame the Executives didn't get their own theme in HGSS. :( As well as FRLG and LGPE not using the Team Rocket theme from GSC/HGSS.
To be fair, them using the Team Rocket battle theme was a step up from the original games, where they used the regular trainer theme lol
