With finding large pieces of wood getting more difficult and to prevent wasting them, a composite wood project makes sense, and it turned out very nice.

I'm just getting into wood turning and am loving your videos. Something to work up to! I see you use beeswax to finish many of your projects. What was the clear substance in this one that you applied and then sanded off? Also, will beeswax retain it's shine over a long time?

The clear liquid is denatured alcohol which functions to clean or remove dust that sticks to the pores of the wood. In my opinion, whatever oil it is, it won't last long, we have to take care of it or reapply it after a long time.

Actually, there is no difference between dry and wet glue because the tail stock sticks firmly to the wood
