The format made it so good. Instead of the usual game endings of "Quick 3 pt attempt, foul, free throws, quick 3 pt attempt, foul, free throws, etc etc". This had such a different feel. Both teams playing clamp down defense, knowing that EVERY POINT WAS CRUCIAL. Loved it.

It's 2020 and Chris Paul is still the best floor general alive who has to be on the floor in the fourth quarter to try to win. Leadership, decision making, he's still the guy. Other players at the position surpassed him years ago as he's aged in a league that wants volume scoring PGs (Steph, Westbrook, Lillard, Irving) but if you need a pure PG to have the ball and use his IQ and skillset to help you win, CP3 is still the guy.

This what I called an All-star Game.
It's 2020 and Chris Paul is still the best floor general alive who has to be on the floor in the fourth quarter to try to win. Leadership, decision making, he's still the guy. Other players at the position surpassed him years ago as he's aged in a league that wants volume scoring PGs (Steph, Westbrook, Lillard, Irving) but if you need a pure PG to have the ball and use his IQ and skillset to help you win, CP3 is still the guy.
lol Steph is at the same time a pure PGs and a scoring PG's. Also outside of Westbrook, all the guys even Curry was SG in college and Irving now is considered as a SG that's why, but wait for Ja Morant, he is a real PG. Look at some Memphis game you will understand
I like that Harden deferred his lay-up to CP like we may not have gotten along or not on the Houston team but that was a I got love or you pass and I trust you in clutch
@@paquinraino8180 Steph isn't a pure PG at all. Draymond has more playmaking responsibility on that team than he does. Steph is the very definition of a scoring PG. Irving isn't considered an SG now. He never has been considered one. Even with LeBron, he wasn't a two guard. He's always been a scoring PG who wasn't interested in doing much else. Never a shooting guard. The guy you said wasn't a shooting guard (Westbrook) is the only one who was before he got to the league lol. Westbrook had to be turned into a PG when he got to the NBA. He was a shooting guard in college and high school. As for Morant, he has a long way to go to be half as good as prime Chris Paul was. The athleticism is nice, but he has to learn how to control games on both ends of the floor if he's going to be anywhere near Chris Paul. 2008 Chris Paul was about as good as any PG ever not named Magic Johnson or Oscar Robertson. He got 56 wins out of David West, Tyson Chandler and old Peja Stojakovic in the West and was second in MVP voting to Kobe. He led the league in assists four times and in steals six times.

@@paquinraino8180 Steph isn't a pure PG. He's the secondary playmaker to Draymond. His movement and shooting open up plays yes, but Draymond is the centerpiece most of the passes go through.
I think this is a great format for an all star game. Keep it just like this. No changes needed.
Best all star game in while I seen. Saw it with Dem boys at the party. Was very entertaining . Gianni's blocks on lebron and the game tying bucket in the third quarter got everybody crazy lol .
The 4th quarter was nice, but the rest of the game was unwatchable.

that was such a perfect play (terrible screen by Paul) LeBron vs Giannis at the rim and they literally tied. could not have been closer between block and goaltend
