@@CasaBLACK Yup. You can't use both at once, though with keybinds you can swap directly between them instead of having to go back to cockpit view first.
These videos are so amazing! Really helps take the stress out of purchasing. Helps with buyer indecision which is rampant in this game b/c things aren’t out and plp play different
After i heard about the BMM. I melted it and bought a A2. I love that thing. I just wish they would fix the crosshair for the bombs. Also i want the ability to hand my suits up in the locker room.
I currently make above 1 million an hour running Beryl from Woodruff on Ita to Lorville in my C2. Nets me 250.000 per load and i can complete 3-5 of them in an hour. And the outposts never run out of Beryl. It's a money cow. The only downside is the 1,6 million cost of the load when you lose it.
I usually wait until the lift has finished moving before getting on or off and it can prevent that from happening. I used to have that issue a lot in the past with this ship series so that’s the workaround I found
Drake ships are my favorite but stepping up to a C2 has been a revelation, especially after updating the quantum drive. It handles great in atmo and the large cargo capacity means it's a money maker. My C2 in Cerberus livery is my favorite ship in the verse.
I went with the m2 as I liked the idea of running high risk cargo in an armored military transport but the Hercules line is a fantastic choice no matter what you choose
What is the name of the paint shown at the 14:13 mark in the video? It looks unpainted, like a B-29 Superfortress. Isn’t the normal unpainted skin white for the C2?
Yes the elevator glitch got me. I had an issue with damage which caused the Canons to not work. I ended up melting the ship. It is a good ship but the issue I had could not be corrected. Maybe in the future I will buy it again.
teh C2 is not a bad ship to fly either, but yeah i agree the doors need to have the option leave some open cos it's a ball ache trying to get between the areas you need to be especially in an emergency.... it feels the same issue with all the Hercules line and the Mercury Star Runner has this issue too :( but once you are situated where you need to be, it's not much of a problem.... i do like the less maze like layout of the Hercules too, as i definitely get lost in the Catapillar and the Starfarer anyways CasaBlack, awesome video and review, definitely look forward to your reviews, thanks for sharing :) if i had any issues with the vid it would be the 360p max resolution, as it looked quite blurry, however with that being said the quality of the video remains barely an issue when compared to the quality of the points and review presented
@@CasaBLACK you're welcome and ah gotcha, sorry accidentally downvoted as i moved my mouse.. muscle spasm for a moment there.... and noice will rewatch again as soon as it's fully uploaded :) thanks again CasaBlack 🙂
I have to laugh at your comment about "more gun racks" The C2 is a cargo ship, with a listed crew of two. The C2 has space for 16 long rifle, and 24 pistol slots (Side arms, Knifes, med guns, multi-tools) The C2 also has 6 external storage bins for ... well anything else you would want to share. In the terms of storage, I don't think it gets much better than that. In terms of weapon racks I think the only ones with more would be dedicated drop ships (maybe, I would have to count)
I get that the M2 is the version and I did recently find out that there is a space between the pilot and co-pilot seat and granted the internal storage can hold quite a bit so its not a major concern of mine.
I have the C2 as a pledge but I'll likely melt it . Not because of the ship , the ship is fine but the game loop is the problem . Those mutts at CIG can facilitate the hell outta combat and piracy but the best they come up with for cargo hauling amounts to time and credit sinks . Risk vs reward is not in proportion . I ran 3 high threat beacons in the Corsair this morning , made 700k pure profit without risking a thing .To run a load of Beryl in the C2 puts 1.6 million credits at risk for less than half the profit from the beacons . CIG hasn't figured it out yet and I have serious doubts that they will , They've got combat on the brain right now . I enjoy blowing crap up as much as the next guy but I like to mix things up playing different loops . Cargo hauling needs some attention and some common sense applied IMO .
yeah I was watching the latest InfoRunners video on cargo and the future and we really need those Quant features in game to bring cargo about and I have a sneaky feeling the Hull C is not going to bring a ton of changes just yet, especially with things like Freight elevators being pushed back at least until the end of the year.
So I absolutely loved my C2 but unlike you, I kept my cat and ccud my C2. I believe the Cat when finished will be more useful with it's modules and ability to separate the command module. Not to mention 2 tractor beams
@@jimflagg4009 Enjoy it! It's still my main ship. Gives income enough to have all ships up to around 5-6 million money within reach with a couple of evenings of grinding.
thanks for the videos, keep them coming! and I add: - the back side and tail aren't good looking at all imo - they fly "good" (like a smaller ship) because they don't feel their size, like the carrack does where momentum while landing isn't just go down. It's ok that's why they are used in air acrobatics, but I don't find them fun. - The view from the cockpit is just awful with a deep view of the horizon line, and you have to do most stuff from the outer camera anyways. - the path to the cockpit and delays aren't great, but it fits a ship that size. as for the positive points, ye the cargo size and wide, being easy to land and fly around, and the unfair advantage of so many weapons for a cargo ship.
Yeah those tails are ugly and I don't find much beauty in the design and you are definitely right about tghe sight lines. I was coming down to land at a mining outpost in a storm at night and absolutely did not see the ROC that someone had left on the pad.. I completely crushed it and there was this mini explosion and I was like whoa! Flew up, swapped my camera view around and could not even tell what it was until I got out, lol was great and just glad it didnt damage the Herc.
The Meh, Oversized cockpit is good for transferring items with crew, Not Wasted Space. Landing can be difficult for some, Learn your ship I can land on a dime, quit being a noob. Could use more gun racks, put a Ursa in your bay that has gun racks, or get an A2 rthat has a Gigantic Armory. Your Meh is meh,,
I do not think you can access both turrets at the same timed as they are both controlled from the co pilot seat
That makes sense.

Cheers Big O! Haven't been down there for almost 10 years now!
Always remember to wait a second or two before getting on the elevator when callin it down, unless you wanna risk getting thrown by it

Great review. I’ve owned this ship for about a month and was not aware of the personal storage spaces. No more creating 1k boxes!
You missed the hand weapon racks in the cockpit 😅 (it's the small box between both seats).
lol I absolutely did and thank you for calling this out, just one more thing to love!
I’ll be buying this ship tomorrow and can’t wait
You are gonna so enjoy it! Great ship!
the elevator loves to push me through the world, esp in the hangar and out into space.
I see the space changes, but it has yet to actually push me out.
