There are many other successful women who can be considered main pop girls. I just chose the few that I felt had the most competitive chart histories and impacted pop culture today. Please don't be upset or angry if your favorite artist didn't make it into the video!

I mistakenly put only the pure sales for some albums. 'Lemonade' sold 653k first week and 'ANTI' sold 15.8K copies first week.

@@casualllama4386it's actually more stable than all her peers. It's just that she has a higher debut so it doesn't feel stable comparatively.

I think the reason they hate taylor is because shes too successful like every album release. She's releasing too much albums bc she can write and doesnt need songwriters to wait and also, ITS her job to release music. Not everyone can release multiple times and be successful like her.
Not even a fan but i've heard evermore last year and i was hooked with her.
i’m gonna talk for myself, but i think it’s pretty normal to get sick and tired of some artist’s music after such a massive release. i’m not saying her music is not worth to be listened to, but after 2020 the world’s been a lil obsessed with her, we need a break. there are so many artists who deserve just as much attention.

It's crazy how 25 has 3.380M sold in its 1st week and another 1.11M on its 2nd week and on its 5th week sold 1.16M. Only album in History to sell.

What happened to ANTI was so unfair! It was released a few hours before the tracking week ended. So less than 1000 sales were registered.
So around 460 first week sales and 11 million sales as of 2021 and it's still charting on the Billboard 200. Make it make sense! SMH.
I read that Samsung bought 1 million ANTI albums and gave them away for free (was part of a deal with Rihanna), and that Billboard didn't count those sales toward the charts.
@@x_Hayes_x yeah, Rihanna got 25 million dollars for that, but it impacted her sales since you could get the album for free (although the 1 million copies were gone in a few days, lmao).

@@IFoundAPubeInMyStarbucks Taylor has written all her songs. Ariana's entire albums comprise of so many rejects of Beyonce, Camilla, Rihanna and Jessie j. Even Adele's songwriting is cliche but for Taylor, all her songs are diverse and have noteworthy lyrics like 'a dwindling mercurial high' which is so incredible!
@@rimilchattopadhyayjeeariana has a harder time with album sales because shes so streaming heavy, TUN did very well despite that. Ariana also writes all of her songs for a while now. she hasn’t taken rejects from artists since her My Everything era so I don’t know how you got that info
@@javitheswiftie didn't you know that r.e.m was a Beyonce reject from her 2013 self titled album. Also, Victoria Monet has been a strong songwriting partner for ariana and she collaborated on sweetener and tun also i think.. And most importantly, God Is A Woman is a Camilla Cabello reject and it was supposed to be on Camilla's self titled 2017 album.
crazy how 'the fame' is such an influential album that is still relevant in the music industry, but failed to sell 25,000 copies in its first week.
