I like the way you think! So basically all I had to do is render from the normal circle and compare it to the face you are seeing. The bones do not move yet create definite solid shape; however, the muscles do.
Useful to see your thought process. Definitely more “character” than “caricature“ but even framing drawing cartoon characters from a caricature perspective is interesting.
I use a black primacolor col erase but I haven't been able to find any in the last few years and I just ran out of my stash. I might have to start using a regular pencil or just draw in dark blue.
