Cheers David, some good pollock up to 5lbs been taken down there lately which ain’t bad for your doorstep without hours heading NW, get over there with some razor claws and have a bash
Nice little video buddy why don't you try a surface poping lure with a couple of ball bearings inside been known to catch nice silver bars from the path 👍🇬🇧😎

Hi mate I’m from Newcastle and fish around that area quite often and I’m wanting to replace the hooks on the on my spinners but cannot find any decent ones with big eyes to fit the slit link though, would you be kind enough to send me a link to them or if so what shop did you get them from 😂
What's up jake mate...if you search Google for "single hooks for lures"... you will see the difference in hook eye...alot bigger..wider gape hooks...I get mine from lennys tackle and bait in South shields
@@geordieblanker perfect mate thank you I’ll pop into lennys and pick some up I’d rather support a local business plus he’s a nice lad a bought a rod plus a couple of other things off him before he opened his shop, it’s good to see a canny lad do something with his life these days
You could fish there or on the rocks in the right about 2 maybe 3 hours before high and then atleast 2 hours out...you get a good few hours on the black path

Eyemouth and st abbs have been terrible lately, been up a few times in thelast 2 weeks and its been poor, lures and spinners doing very little.
Yeah few saying that...try again in a couple weeks
eyemouth is amazing by the caravan site there is a palace but it’s a little difficult to get down (not hard for you)

Its pretty close to Marsden beach.. you cant miss it walking along the cycle path towards the big shields beach
