I'm not sure if this is your normal style, but I wanna say I adore the active commentary. So many people just show the run, but hearing your thoughts means a lot to some of us who aren't good enough to know every in and out ahead of time.
I've been trying to commentate as many runs as possible. I think it adds a lot of value to people who aren't as familiar with speedruns, as some stuff may be obvious to me, but not viewers. I also always include a link to a non-commentated version to whoever is not up to hearing some weird voiceover. Those get very few views, but that means that there's some people who prefer it that way, so I make sure to upload them too! Sometimes I'll feel particularly unmotivated and just upload with no commentary though. But those are only a few of them.
Very nice, as always! Love your tips about which attacks are safe for longer combos, really useful. Do you find this info by yourself or is there a source for this?
It's mostly stuff I figure out playing a lot watching other speedruns and trying to comprehend them. I did write down a lot of the stuff I know in a google document a few months ago: bit.ly/MHWIAIPerks
SA was the first weapon I was able to clear this fight with. I feel like it's a pretty decent match up. I feel like, because you can really stick close to R. Brachy for most of the fight, the SA shines.
SA is my main weapon but for some reason I struggle so bad against R Brachy with it. I think because of the slime more than anything, and getting locked into animations. Need one more point of blast resist wouldnt you say full blast resist is a must for this fight melee?
Unfortunately, I don't think I will. Doing a full guide is a TON of work and I'm not looking forward to doing that again. I think these commentated runs are as far as I'm willing to go. Sorry to disappoint!
