another great pattern, like the Teal infront of the deer hair, nice affect.

Nice tie. Love the biot body and the speckled teal in the wing. Are biots fairly durable? I've avoided them for years, assuming they were fairly fragile. Should note that because this pattern uses the sparkle emerger yarn to imitate the shuck (as opposed to the split, fiber tails of the Comparadun, it may be better known as a "Sparkle Dun" in some circles.
Craig Mathews and John Juracek tweaked the Comparadun pattern by replacing the split tails with yarn that imitates a trailing shuck in the 1980's...and called it a 'Sparkle Dun".
Really nice fly, just got around to looking at some of your past video's. Love the fly, it is so neat and weightless. I love using biot bodies. I usually use a smooth body on mayflies, but that looked really good. All the best and thanks for sharing. Sean
