The rest were distributed after the new Coastliners MMC’s were in the process of being ordered and the Coastliner Scanias were allocated onto the 37 between Havant and Petersfield and 38 between Petersfield and Alton as well as the college and school runs
Why is it that most of the Southern counties of England where Stagecoach are the main bus operator, the vehicles that they often use are well over 10-15 years age? For example 52, 03, 53, 04, 54, 05 registrations etc. Rarely do you see vehicles that are newer than 12-reg in a lot of the Home Counties. Just seems a bit odd
Stagecoach are hugely disorganised company literally they are awful But also profit New buses go on profitable routes .. Having said that seems like all south UK gets older stuff Cornwall only just 7 years ago got rid of vr's It's good though because new buses are horrible Old stuff is fun

Fond memories of driving this bus for Stagecoach Portsmouth! Ran like clockwork and hardly anything went wrong, do miss driving buses sometimes!

One of the last Trident 2’s in service with provincial Stagecoach companies. East Kent had the last 3, namely 18528/9/30.
We need to bring back the remaining tridents
