Most people 87 or older still have their teeth. The real point is that there are not very many Canadians who live to be 87+ because health care in this country sucks. Yes, the Liberals have saddled future generations with a debt that may never be repaid, especially with high interest rates. We pay more to service that debt than the feds spend on health care. The feds completely fouled up the pandemic response, and wasted $billions, so putting bandaid pharma, daycare, and dental care programs to help a handful of people won’t compensate for that. Increasing the taxes on doctors will make the doctor shortage worse. The Liberals are completely clueless.

I’m 66 and get very little help with dental care. It’s at least a 100$ a visit.
They sent me a federal letter to apply for this dental help and yes I only have some teeth left and could not afford the thousands it would cost to fix my mouth again, but how much longer will I live anyway? The paperwork and all the questions and conditions and still whether or not you can get this coverage left me not wanting it, when I needed help it was not available. Plus the fact that a friend of mine had $67,000. dollars of work done in his mouth and 4 months later died leaving his wife with some debt still and her about to go in to have a hip replacement that now needs to be held off.
