This was filmed before the pandemic, so I can't help you with restrictions. I suggest you look at the official Peru website for more information on that. There are also various Facebook groups that may provide information too. When it comes to the rainy season the rain wasn't all that bad. We went in late Jan to early Feb. We brought rain jackets and rain boots and were fine. I feel like March will be fine. Have fun!
