A mate just sent me a link for this video knowing I want to put a 4JJ1 into my 40 series LandCruiser. I'll have to watch your other videos and catch up with the build. 👍
Can't believe you cut the girdle on the engine spraying dust and steel filings into the bottom of the engine, should have taken if off, or at least made a better attempt of protecting the engine. If main cap bolts are only torqued, not angle of turn, doubt they yielded, so could have taken it off and then refitted.
@@TheEverydayExplorerAUSnope… I hope your engine rewards you for your laziness and unprofessional conduct by leaving you stranded in the middle of nowhere… it’s your car, do what you want, but you should be banned from ever selling a used vehicle, or working on a vehicle that’s not yours… lets hope you have a little more respect for brakes, steering, and suspension… I’m absolutely disgusted.
@@TheEverydayExplorerAUS Yep, from the sump straight through the pickup and on to the pump to be distributed directly through the main bearings to pick up more metal gouged from them and cam bearings for the filter to clean, so yeah should be all clean up before being returned back to the pan.☹
@@brianross4057 yeah mate I caught most of it and collected as much as possible with a magnetic + blasted it out with compressed air. You know the saying, she'll be right! 😅

@@Sparky_D cheers mate, just finished my engine build on the weekend so she will be going into the 80 for the last time this week! :)
Great work, Corey and well done for 1k subscribers! To keep up with the trends on RUclips, maybe consider adding some bikinis to your videos
Did u have to do all that mods sump bc it is a 2wd motor
@@reubencrozier7429 yeah had to swap the 2wd sump for a 4wd sump to fit the crank girdle. Will be worth it for reliability in the long run.
@@TheEverydayExplorerAUS sick build loving it. Love the 4js I got 3 rodeo I wanna do some motor work eventually need more updates on ur tho
@@reubencrozier7429 I've got an RA Rodeo as well, goes great! Motors are very easy to work on :)

Caught most the filings and cleaned up the rest, should be fine. It'll all fall into the sump anyway :)
