No, its time to finally give up control and give it all over to Him. He’s been really pushing me to walk by faith alone and that’s a truly frightening path to take. There's a movie called "The Pilgrim's Progress" from 2019. There's a section there where the protagonist Christian Pilgrim goes through a place called "The Valley of Humiliation." It is said it is a lonely place to be, and when we walk The Valley of Humiliation we walk it alone, and this is very true. This area we walk in as Christians is a place where we walk it alone. It's a process, and it has to be done. It's the only way for us to have the full realization that we need God and God alone. Not our friends. Not our family. GOD...... It is the most painful walk you will endure by far in your walk with Jesus Christ, but I PROMISE YOU it will not last forever. Mine lasted 6 years. I was suicidal, I tried to kill myself, and God wouldn't let me die. It really did get that bad, and I look back at it now with The Devil screwing with my mind and the lies and torment that followed even in my dreams alongside my waking hours. It never ended day in and day out and even in my sleep. Sometimes...... God brings us to that final place of surrender, and that surrender must be met in order to move forward with Jesus. There is no other way, and I promise you I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. It's like a nightmare that never ends; your own personal horror movie of which you can not escape from. YOU WILL. Aaron, i feel alone in this life. I pray and read my bible and i feel like god is not near. Even family members dont support or help me. Im trying to stay strong and not give up. I am right here at this moment. The urge to act is beyond anything I could have imagined. Blasphemous thoughts towards God incessant. The pain is so deep, and the fear so great. Fear of this as a life sentence. I want out. I want this to stop. Chest pounding and body gripped in massive tension. Drugs only made the fear more intense and side effects were unbearable. I want to live I want to live, but the rage and interior anger and hatred is boiling. So so close to the edge, Jesus you said you were always with us. I need you now more than ever. Fast..take time alone to be with God. John Bunyan struggled with this too. You need to realize that you are not God.. the thoughts you have you hate..they are not yours. Recognize that. Let God be your God..come down from the throne of your heart and put God there..He allows us to see that we are not capable of anything good so we can come to the end of ourselves. I prayed for you. At this time, take a stand in faith in God’s promises. Declare them and hold onto them alone. Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Galatians 2:20. As a child of God, you have the right to claim them and stand on them forever. Disregard all fearful and evil thoughts as they are all lies from the devil who desires to have you. And forcefully direct your thoughts to God’s promises, and stand on them. And stay standing on them in faith.
I will pray for you as well. There is power in the name of Jesus and you have authority over these attacks. Jesus ascended above all the heavens so he is the only name that we can be saved by which is great because the demons of fear depression anger and anxiety have no dominion over you because Jesus bore the sins of the entire world when he died on the cross. Also if you are struggling with weird anger and it’s making you afraid, Jesus already knows. The Bible says he knows our thoughts from afar so everything you are worried about is crystal clear to him. Keep praying to God in Jesus name and he will help. Also trust and stand firm by believing every-time you pray that God does hear you and he loves you and he will provide what is needed according to his will.

Right now my mind just feels like what I want doesn’t matter. It’s ultimately just what God wants for his people and his glory. Which is fine. I just don’t really see any happiness in the future. Which is sad, I should be happy to fulfill God’s purpose. But i ultimately just want to die. I don’t really care about the testimony right now. If I can help others before I go that’s great. But I’m ready to leave soon.
Just lay your life down before God, for Him to decide what to do with the remainder of your life (Romans 12:1). And remember, His plan for your life is not only good and purposeful, but it is what is best for you.
I’m sorry to hear of your loss. Assuming you both are children of God, you will meet again shortly when compared to eternity. Make the most of this precious time that is left by giving it to God. Finish strong. Life is brief. May God comfort you and give you His joy.
I’m always baffled how does one be “saved” by believing? Believing is a fickle thing. By faith, faith in what exactly? Faith in a better life I presume. How does one “know” God. I’ve first hand experienced God and the horrors of the universe(spiritually and physically). But I never witnessed Jesus through all this. My life can’t go on much longer(not suicide). How can I be sure if salvation?
Jesus says that if we ask we will get the answer and if we seek we will find. You desire to know the truth so I would straight up say “God I want to know how to trust in what Jesus did for me on the cross, I want jesus to be my lord and save me and forgive me of my sins. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name amen” God is faithful and what he says is the truth he is extremely trustworthy. Ask him how to walk by faith and what steps to take next. He will show you. It’s just believing. Also you can ask Jesus to show himself to you when you read the holy Bible. Keep praying and asking and he will answer because he loves you and is faithful. Don’t get discouraged and remember there is a whole community of believers who have been saved by faith in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross.
Are you sure God is true.. I am keeping faith in God for so long.. It is so scary now to even think that I am trusting God for the biggest issues of my life.. And if he does not exist I may not be able to take it bcz I trusted him whole heartedly.. Its really scary now to even think He may not exist bcz all i receive is pain.. Unbearable pain.. God is not angry with you at all. He loves you. The way we are attacked is in our mind to try and take away our hope in God. Just let go and let God. I understand it happens to me too and I think every believer.

Jesus is absolutely alive, I can testify. Keep trusting in him. In the book of Job he feared God and he suffered horrible he lost all of his children and more. His health and everything. No one was of much help but he kept trusting in God. The power of God is so strong that by faith we can have the devil screaming in our face trying to hurt us, but God. He prepares us a table in the presence of our enemies. That’s powerful that even in pain and suffering God is with us. Jesus said he would be with us until the end of the age. We might not have the answers now but we will when we are with Jesus in eternity. The word of God clearly states that you have every right to stand firmly in the promises of God even when it seems like all hell breaks loose. Keep praying, Jesus definitely hears you. He died on the cross and beat death. The devil is a liar and he doesn’t want any to have an ounce of rest peace or trust in God but thankfully the word of God says he’s a liar and does not say a single truth. Jesus is the way the truth and the life and so combat by using the word of God is lethal to the enemy’s attacks. I will pray for you.

Did I get to the very edge that made me understand those that did? Yes - I stared in the void more than once. I get it. But I always knew it's just not worth throwing my eternity away, for escaping whoemver knows how many decades of continuous suffering I may still contemplate on this side (save for the Lord delivering me). I fear God more than whatever I am facing here. And it's...a lot. It's been for years. Years upon years. To a rididulous level. Yet...less than others. There's still grace, Kevin, and that keeps me moving 🙂.

It’s okay, and it’s to be expected as this is a battle. Focus on Jesus and His promises, especially when fearful thoughts try and come.
