I love you Sullii. You guys have helped me through some tough times for real. I’m 23 now. When I was 14 i got diagnosed with Morbus Crohn (permanent infection in the gut), lost my grandad on both my mom and dad’s side when I was 16, smoked 200 grams a month from the age 17 to 21, did cocaine or mdma whenever I had the chance, and drank a bottle of vodka at a minimum from age 18 to 20. Went through a toxic relationship while it was going on, because it was all that i had at the time besides the drugs. Found out last year that I have another chronic desease called Sarkoidose, which resultet in a bloodclot in my brain last year when I was 22. I have followed you since you started, and you have always been there for me, even tho you don’t know it. Keep it up, because you are chaning lives.

Listened to this album for the first time on the road, on my way to a big event that meant so much to me. Cried the whole way through this album, and then cried some more when I listened to it again. And now - watching you perform it live, I’m feeling it again. Every word and every movement and every note carries a weight and sometimes it knocks me out, sometimes it pulls me back from the darkest hole. Josh, you’ve written the most incredible musical experience of my life. I’ve loved your writing since Crooks, and now you’re writing him, you’re writing me, you’re writing her, you’re writing them, you’re writing us, by writing YOU. Sullii really outdid himself with this new album that is just pure from his heart, you can definitely tell that his pain and suffering turned into something beautiful that made all of us to feel less alone. The love and dedication to his fans is astronomical, and the pure passion that goes into music is brilliant and all I can say is that I’m glad I’m here to experience it all.
So I want to share a story that means something to me.. I've gotta bring up the past a bit because without it I wouldn't have ended up here finding you again. So many years ago I heard Crooks (UK) accidentally on YT, needless to say I was hooked. I've had those records with me through a lot of stages in my life, I was in my late teens, in one of the worst times in my life as I had to fight my way into adulthood tooth and nail. In the last few years a lot changed, I was in my late 20s, and "A Few Peaceful Days" was running around in the back of my head, like the roar of the Niagara Falls. I just couldn't shake it, I remember I heard it before in my teens and early 20s, but for some reason I couldn't for the life of me remember.
So I turned 30 this year, I started hearing it again, I shit you not. I tried desperately to find that band and sure enough after hours of research I stumbled upon the Music Video here on YT. Like many I had wondered what had happened. So I spent another few hours with some morning coffee doing some detective work. Old articles already gone, dead pages, and more dead ends until I saw "Sullii is Josh Rogers of Crooks".
I want to tell you Josh, I'm so proud of you. Never stop fighting.

This legit brought tears to my eyes. Watching Sulli overcome his past, standing there among the people that are really supportive like that, is really incredible.
