    Rice has to be washed initially several times to get rid of starch and dirt... You want clear water. Then you will have to leave it for couple of hrs in water or over night with added tablespoon of salt ... and then start from where he starts ! This is important which he skipped.

    Adding egg gave the whole dish a really eggy smell! Never making it again or just do it without egg.

    I tried it and burned the potatoes. 😞
    Medium heat is probably best, not high.

      Maria welcome to the current century.. where 90% are okay with other people living as they wish ...you’re not in their relationship and you hide your picture .. so it’s not your concern and hiding who’s judging isn’t the bravest of things..

    It it possible to make this without egg, I am vegetarian

    • @Pm.artworks
      @Pm.artworks 4 года назад +1

      You shouldn’t even need the egg if you are just making a potato tahdig, you just need the saffron water, and oil. If you are making Tahchin then you use egg and yogurt.
