- In this video, I am testing the new @PDMOVIE Live Air 3 Smart Lidar Focusing system paired with the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6KPro + the Meike S35 25mm lens with my finds as they said it struggles a bit in harsh sunlight but more on this in my full review video subscribe to my channel and stay tuned for that review.

very cool shots! seems like you have a few moments the LIDAR sensor is not working - did you connect the focus on top of the camera or on the left side? also it looks like there is just a small circle in the middle of the screen when auto focus will work. have the feeling the 25mm is the maximum in "wide angle" you can use the AF system. im sure its easier with 35mm
Yea its mounted to the side. Sun was pretty harsh, I used NDs why it doesn’t reflect in the video but you are correct 25mm is the widest it accommodates.
I also do think the top is the best placement based on testing.
@@Kemstylebossy but for that harsh sunlight it's doing a good job I think. yea I think putting it on top will give you a more "centered" circle. curious about your new feedback about that change
@@noBfilm yea mounting on top get little to no miss focus so top is best
