But i noticed there aren't any Greys Rods comparisons on RUclips in general, do you maybe have any information on their action, distance you can achieve (for exmaple Greys Prodigy GT4 13ft).

    Do you know what is the defrence between Tx-7 12ft-3lb and Tx5 the same model? Thanks

    • @DSLRCARPTV
      @DSLRCARPTV  4 года назад +1

      Hi mate, first of all, I didn't use 3lb. If we look at the product features. We will see that Tx7 is obviously superior in terms of carbon quality and guide/ring quality. Finally, I can evaluate the best about the long shot(13ft Int +3.5lb). The two rods do not have much difference, both of them can shoot tournaments in the range of 110-113gr.
      The TX 5 carp rod range is based on the latest manufacturing processes, using a blend of HPC200 and Biofibre carbon. This results in very slim and powerful blanks which will enhance the casting performance. Although the blanks are very powerful, the TX 5 does not compromise on playing action in the tip- and middle section, required for maintaining a secure hook-hold. The TX 5 series have been developed with a plastic line clip. The new TX 5 features red tipping on black cosmetic wrapping which will immediately catch the eye of the angler. The rear grip is manufactured from material of Winn Grip which has resulted in a distinctive looking carp rod with a very nice feeling to the grip.
      The TX 7 is the power house of the Tribal rod range, created to handle the biggest of waters and the creatures that inhabit them. Featuring HPC250 + Biofibre, for incredibly strong, powerful blanks. Guides are crucial on a powerful rod but with strength often comes weight, Kigan Stainless steel zirconia guides have been mounted onto the blanks, ensuring relentless power without an increase in weight. A Fuji DPS reel seat and EVA grip handle complete the new TX 7 range, which you can be confident in taking to the biggest of venues. In summary the TX 7's are powerful rods built for big fish waters.
