Hard to believe Vic went from making shark fishing videos on the beach as a kid in high school, to in my opinion, the best fishing and cooking channel on You Tube. Just goes to show you, you can do big things if you dream big and work hard.
Vic and Brook, without a doubt the best channel I follow. I live my sea life from the mid-west through you guys. Watching the passion and instruction you provide is great, but the catch, clean and cook nails it. Five star chefs at their best. As much as I like seeing the Beautiful blue ocean, I always look forward to your kitchen time and your amazing creations. Thanks for everything
The amount of time that it takes to actually prepare the fishing gear, prepare the boat, and the most important take the time to go and actually put in time and effort, one can really appreciate the video. Good video. Florida fishing is unmatched i would say. The best part is the food. 😁
Can’t believe it- I believe Vic grew up down the street from me. I grew up commercial fishing and in 94 I began running offshore charters out of Anna Maria island Florida. I was paralyzed and retired but found out that I’m now able to start learning to walk again. I remember him starting about the time I was paralyzed. That’s awesome I used downriggers with wire to get away from the planers.
Josh you are Larger than life,I followed The Walker Cay Chronicals and The Spanish Fly back in the day.I feel that your story has many chapters to be written and hope to see you back in the saddle soon.I live my life with the belief thar every day is a gift.God bless you and your beautiful family.
My favorite catch clean and cook channel. Never failed to impress us. Me and my son loves fishing as our bonding and watching you guys is exceptional ❤ Bless and love from Bohol Philippines
My younger days the first time i seen a planer it was used on a hand line, and actually used small diameter nylon type rope tied to the cleat. Using outriggers up top, in ne Florida we were kingfish hunting, we were young and experimenting. Modern technology was just beginning. (Paper fish finders)(compass, watch and rpm) to find an area. The old days but the memories are forever. Years ago late 70’s through the 80’s and we evolved as the conversations at the dock, ideas and tips were shared. Congrats on those speed demons !!! and the groceries looked delicious.
So happy for You guys Vick. I know it may sound cliche, but you are truly one of the best guys on RUclips. I really mean that. Its so nice seeing you and Brooke have such a successful day on the water! I loved every moment of this video. I can't say enough good things about you guys!!
i absolutely love the way you went from shark fishing in high school to making it your career and life. and i do really live these new videos but do you think you could start making more shark fishing videos those are my personal favorite
I agree with you on trolling not being the most exciting style of fishing but its all worth it when that line starts screaming and you get on some nice HOO Action! Awesome Vid
Vic and Brook, you guys are wonderful. Love watching you and getting great cooking ideas. Best catch and clean and cook channels on You Tube. Keep up the great work.
I watch a few channels started out with dmfd but I enjoy your cooking portion more then any other , I think one of the big reasons is the multiple people and actually a plate of food . It seams a lot of other channels just fry a small piece to say they did .. where you guys actually make a awesome meal . Well done
Great wahoo trip. I love those fish. I told you earlier about an 88 pounder caught kite fishing in Islamorada. I also caught a 71 pounder deep jigging off Key Largo. I had that beauty mounted. While fishing a tournament in Daytona Beach one of my fishing buddies caught a 94 pounder trolling ballyhoo. We thought we had a winner but another boat landed a 105 pound torpedo of a wahoo. They are so fast and so delicious. One of my favorites.
Florida is my next vacation destination. Specifically for ocean fishing. Trolling is my favorite way to fish. One way I haven't seen you guys fish is the most simple. Fresh water bobber with split shot weights and a night crawler, grub or minnow. My top three ways to fish, in order: trolling, bobber and jigging straight down. Fourth is casting an artificial. A slip bobber is an option I enjoy using, but just the old red and white is good too. My favorite slip bobber was discontinued over a decade ago, I'd jump in the lake and swim out to get mine if the line broke in a place where I lose it.
The video was fantastic from start to finish from the mad gaffing skills to the expert skipper, then the Master Poissonnier creating his Culinary Ode to the Wahoo. 👏👏👏
Awesome video, Viktor! It was fun watching you catch the Wahoo and cooking up a great meal. Very nice family dinner. Can't wait to see your videos from Mexico.
Love your video man, appreciate how you take a second to explain things like this. Especially me being from minnesota Salt waters so different then offshore. Love that you guys have a great attitude and keep it real. Someone fun to fish with
I love wahoo. It’s probably my favorite fish to eat. Years ago I used to catch them in Hawaii where they’re called “ Ono “ We used to say they were Onoliscious…
Vic we troll great Lakes salmon and trout using dipsy divers and slide divers. Plastic divers that bring your baits down and to the side. The slide divers are inline so you can also set different lead length's. At your speeds they can get baits down 30' to 50' and since they also plane to the side you could run 4 rods with them using variable side planes. Ive also used downriggers with the side divers, getting my baits down 90+' with the slide diver line attached to the downrigger wire using clips. Covering huge swatch of water down deep to each side of the boat. Just a thought.
Love this video!! Love you guys together! You make such a wonderful couple, made even better because you share a passion for fishing and cooking! YES, Vic, huge shout out to Brook for her gaff shots!!! Born, raised, and lived my first 46 years in Broward county, you're fishing the waters I grew up fishing in. Glad to see there are still good fish there. When I left, not much was being caught off the Ft. Lauderdale/Pompano area. Wishing you continued mega-success with your channel and a lifetime of love and happiness with your sweet, awesome Brook!!! Props to Dennis the cameraman!! Keep him around!!! :) Good luck in Mexico!!! :)
We are up in the Daytona area. 30 miles minimum for wahoo. So awesome being so close to shore and that deep😮. Great video. Congrats on the 3 hoos too 😊
Just started to learn about fishing to bond with my sons. Your vids are so informative. I don’t think I’m to far from you. We fish out of the St. Lucie River/ Ft. Pierce inlet/ Stuart inlet
Beautiful coloration on these fish. Dont remember the wahoo i caught here down under having such colorful stripes. The one I caught seemed to have big shark teeth pattern when it was hooked, but quickly lost that and went solid blue on top and white underneath ones it was dispatched.
when taking the skin off wahoo in Mexico we make the out line around the whole fish just through the skin and we take a small rag or towel and peel it off then we finish with the fillets. much faster and easier! try it out! it works with mahi and kings aswell!
Great job on the wahoo guys! I’m curious you did not mention what type of oil you were pan searing that wahoo in and I have not seen an oil that is that clear in that higher heat care to share
I been watching since 2015 ur camera quality and u catching and cleaning has improved tremendously I appreciate your work guys thanks for the content 😌
So envious!!!! I love wahoo - love the taste of 'em, I think they're a bada$$-looking fish, just overall awesome, and my dream saltwater fish. Yeah, that's right, I've never had the opportunity to fish for them, but I'd even settle for just having more opportunity to dine on them, but hard to get here up in Oregon! 🙂
I would give anything to get out fishing with you guys. I do a lot of Keys bridge fishing because I am shore bound. When I see a Wahoo like that I just wish I could catch one some day!
In Fl is it an arm and a leg for a charter? I live in MI and they usually only cost about 500 to go out. But Im guessing its a bit higher when going into a deep ocean.....
Well,I don't believe I can say anything more that all your fans have already said! And my grandson (8 mo.) Also loved the vid as well. I have always loved both of you and your wonderful family life as well!! Great WAHOO DAY!!!
Hard to believe Vic went from making shark fishing videos on the beach as a kid in high school, to in my opinion, the best fishing and cooking channel on You Tube. Just goes to show you, you can do big things if you dream big and work hard.
Absolutely agree with you 💯%
Vic is the man!
Work hard, believe in yourself and with patience good things will come! Thanks for watching!
And I'm pretty sure is not even work for him... is more of a passion...
I've often thought the same thing couldn't have said it better. Love his slogan there's no trash fish only trash cooks.
Those days are few and far between. I literally was dancing and yelling at my screen. So glad to be a subscriber to enjoy these days with you all!

@@LandsharkOutdoors that wahoo is a monster of a fish

46 yrs old and I still haven't had the pleasure of eating wahoo. It will always be on my bucket list, until I get to try one.

Well,I don't believe I can say anything more that all your fans have already said! And my grandson (8 mo.) Also loved the vid as well. I have always loved both of you and your wonderful family life as well!! Great WAHOO DAY!!!
Good stuff brother 💯💥👊🏻🎣💪the second one was the biggest 🙏
Dang that was a great video start to finish , now I'm really hungry for some wahoo
i loved this episode.
Wow! In my part of Florida, the Panhandle, you have to go 25 miles offshore to get in 200 ft of water.
Like dolphin, they apparently grow insanely fast. Apparently most wahoo reach over 25 inches in the first year and over 36 by the second year.
I hope you invited the whole neighborhood over for dinner. That's a lot of food. Lol
Great vid guys''Gonna eat good tonight''
Dude this looks absolutely KILLER! I need to step up my game in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing.
I love watching you guy's
🔥Content keep it up💪🏻
Impressive Catch!
