Get back to talking us through it mate, it works better than just listening to 2020 Kraftwerk, but they are not as good, Kraftwerk were the bomb as an electronic band, but I was a hawkwind fan with the late great Lemmy. Get back to what you were doing, This is not a criticism, Just a fan...
Appreciate the feedback mate, just trying different things see what works and what doesn't. I'm a metal head but like these sort of tunes on my videos, might put people off videos full of blast beats, cruching riffs, beatdowns and screams😂🤘

Thank you for posting this. I have a 1st generation Flex and had forgotten how the pump's outside case is removed for cleaning. Didn't want to break it so this helped me a lot.
If I have carbon I would use it for the first few weeks (mainly to remove tannins) after that once the plants start to establish I don't think it's necessary.
Yeah I do that all the time, use stones to keep soil back and divide the soil and sand. Fill any gaps with filter wool, works a treat and finally add your sand.
Hello. I am curious to know the frequency or how often you clean your tank. I do not keep many fish in my 15gallon, but I want to make sure I keep it clean and do it correctly. How often do you do water changes and how often do you clean the filter media and the pump? Thank you.
Hi Joshua, I water change at least once a week, around 50-60%, clean glass, remove waste, dead/dying plant leaves etc. Filter media is rinsed in water removed from tank around once a month.
Love your scapes. I'm thinking about setting up something similar. Do I need to add a heater if I'm just keeping plants no livestock. Will they thrive without heating? Thanks for your help.
Thankyou so much. Plants will be fine without a heater unless you get really cold winters but most aquatic plants can cope in a broad temperature range. To be on the safe side check the plant info which will have temperature range before you buy👍 Best of luck with your setup😊
Hi thanks for the Flex 123 tutorials. Just bought a second hand one. Looks great now its had some TLC. What's the pump tubing you use to refill and attach to your second Eheim?
Hi pal, I need that refill setup and was thinking about getting the pump you use instead of the fluval one and use the fluval as the pump in the bucket, is the stock fluval pump 17mm aswell ? Thanks
Hello mate i just got the fluval flex 34l I'm looking to buy some more filter media but I can't find anything for the 34l,all I see is for fluval spec are they the same size media the flex 34l and the spec
@@GEORDIESCAPER no worries mate i will ring the pet shop tomorrow, love the vids keep them coming.i just set my 34l flex with plants how long will I leave it till I add some stock
cheers mate very much appreciated...i usually leave it around 3 to 4 weeks, best to add algae eaters first, amano shrimp and a nerite snail is what i would highly recommend for a 34l👍
I nearly brought this aquarium a few months ago. Went for the .Dennerle scaper's 55l. Much prefer open top and i like the shape of it. Now have 3 of them. On i side note i prefer when you interact with people. 10 minute music video isn't for me. You Geordies have the best accent in the country. Use it xxx
Thank you. And wow. Genius for showing me this. I'll follow you as I have this tank and so new to fish keeping. Love it so much. I really appreciate your vids. Thank you again. You have helped me so much. X Sunderland born . Sorry. Lol. Lol

Looks great mate, I’ve got the same tank here and am on a RUclips quest to improve it. Had it going for over a year, first 6 months were awesome, loads of growth all round, but since then it seems to have stalled and I’m getting little to no plant growth... Maintenance seems very similar to yours, but I probably only do 20% WC weekly, although I’ve only got a bunch of Amanos and a Betta. I don’t know if it’s the light not cutting it, my ferts not enough or maybe the aqua soil is so depleted.... Do you know anyway to upgrade the light off the shelf without cutting the lid up too much? Channel looks great I’ll be having a browse 👍🏼
Think the flex is a good starter tank but to be honest I prefer the Dennerle tank simply because no built in stuff the video is really good as usual and the content helpful as always well done
Thank you for taking the time to create this video. I set up this tank 2 weeks ago so very helpful for doing the first big maintenance! My scape looks very different, I have a lot of Dragonstone and 6 types of plants. 3 red cherry shrimp in there now more will be added on Sunday. Also going to have 12 Ember tetras in the tank. So far I have been busy with water changes every one or two days; also doing 3 types of fertilizing. Plants have been growing very fast ! This is my aquarium after 12 days: imgur.com/a/P7kgNiG

I noticed you didn't put the carbon pack back in the filter. What was the reason for that?

Hi m8 could you give me a bit of advice i wish to grow live plants could I have sand and aqua soil if i divided them by some means cheers pal
