Can I ask you a question? You seem knowledgeable about meditation. I am a naturalist and I don't believe in any metaphysics or horoscopes, or connecting with the universe. However, almost all writers who are knowledgeable about the subconscious (maybe all of them, I don't know) always go through religion and suggest things like praying. They also make you pray in some meditation guides. However, since I am a naturalist, it feels like it is not very effective or even doesn't affect me at all, and I lower my expectations a lot (and this probably affects me too). Do you have any suggestions for this? Or how can I adapt this praying kind of things to myself in the most beneficial way?
