My wife and I don’t even put up Christmas Decorations or Celebration anymore since our only Son died in 2019 at the age of 34. It’s just another day to us. But Merry Christmas to everyone else and peace on earth . Do not wish to diminish the spirit of the Holiday by saying this by always tell those closest to you that you love them. We saw him that morning and he was gone by the afternoon. Life is funny that way. Every year on his birthday my wife of 44 years cries all day and i go outside to the backyard and sit . Love doesn’t die. One day you will be together again. I believe your son would want you to celebrate and decorate for Christmas. Remember your son is with the person we honor at this time of year.

The Christmas carols, my Mom would make myself and siblings attend church services especially around Christmas. Why do "Christians" celebrate Christmas?...Jesus was not born on December 25th..all facts indicate he was born a couple of months earlier... in fact most Christmas customs, as well as the date of December 25th, have to do with pagan festivals such as Roman Saturnalia and the pagan god Mithras, etc etc.. boy Jesus' sure must be proud of you guys!...🤔 lolol

Working on it! This is one lovely way to begin! This is our old fashion Christmas and as it used to be, in our upstate NY, not sure what this will bring this year but have had warm winters and not so much snow a couple storms. Although none of us like to much or the ice, but snow coming down softly and slowly is fine as we can keep up better. It is the way it looked and how it felt and will again am sure . just not yet. many are happy as can get shopping done first! Putting our Lord in the center of it all, is how I see Christmas. Love and caring for others.

My deepest condolences to everyone here who is dealing with the loss of family members. I lost my son, age 35 in 2021, and my husband passed suddenly, 5 days after Christmas, in 2022. I miss them terribly, especially during the holidays. So many memories. I still decorate for Christmas because they both loved Christmas. I am blessed to still have 2 other grown children. We now sit around and talk about "remember when ..." So many good times and memories of them. I wish everyone here a very blessed and Merry Christmas.

Working on it! This is one lovely way to begin! This is our old fashion Christmas and as it used to be, in our upstate NY, not sure what this will bring this year but have had warm winters and not so much snow a couple storms. Although none of us like to much or the ice, but snow coming down softly and slowly is fine as we can keep up better. It is the way it looked and how it felt and will again am sure . just not yet. many are happy as can get shopping done first! Putting our Lord in the center of it all, is how I see Christmas. Love and caring for others.

My deepest condolences to everyone here who is dealing with the loss of family members. I lost my son, age 35 in 2021, and my husband passed suddenly, 5 days after Christmas, in 2022. I miss them terribly, especially during the holidays. So many memories. I still decorate for Christmas because they both loved Christmas. I am blessed to still have 2 other grown children. We now sit around and talk about "remember when ..." So many good times and memories of them. I wish everyone here a very blessed and Merry Christmas.

Thank you for making this. My wife of 20 years passed away a few months ago and its been difficult to feel the Christmas spirt. This video took me to a place in my memory that I think i lost over the years. It was so magical years ago and I think I lost it the last few years as my wife was sick 3 years before she passed.
