    My head spins, in a good way, after watching your videos. I really appreciate the thought and detail that goes into your videos and well as your products. I also appreciate that your repeat how to use products that have been available for awhile. I'm a huge fan of both of you.

    Tim, I really love your live videos. I am SO looking forward to several weeks in a row! Thanks to you and Mario! May I please ask..the paper dolls on these makes…do they get adhered as is? Or do they get backed to make them sturdier? I am wondering because I would hate for them to get bent in shipping if I made one for a gift. I’d really like to try one for Christmas. Thank you!😊

    • @timholtz
      @timholtz  Год назад +1

      Thanks! It depends on how you're using them. They can be adhered directly to a surface, you can adhere to chipboard and hand cut them, or if they are somewhat suspended you can back them with tissue or bubble wrap when mailing.

    Can I cut these with my Glowforge laser printer (it cuts wood, acrylic, paper, and leather; it also engraves all of those and slate)?

    • @timholtz

      I don't own a Glowforge to test, but this surface is cut on laser when produced.

      Si es posible. En "Settings" (el símbolo de la tuerquita), haga click en: "Subtitles/CC", " English/Autogenerated", Auto-Translate" . Al final tendrá la opción de seleccionar el idioma que prefiera.

    I wish I was that talented! I have NO vision! 😢

    • @rtd1791
      @rtd1791 Год назад +3

      Vision is actually something that can be developed. It does not have to be innate. You can develop your making skills by coping any of the many, many projects out there. By doing this you improve your eye and learn your own tastes while honing your skills. Eventually you will have ideas for your own projects.
      Once upon a time this was the primary way artists learned. They would apprentice to a master and use the master’s tools and materials and techniques to create works that were in the master’s style. Eventually most artists find their own voice.

    Why don't you activate the language subtitles? We buy your products all over Europe, but not all of us speak English, so it seems unfair that you don't activate them. I write in a translator

    • @sugarhillcrafter1044
      @sugarhillcrafter1044 Год назад +9

      I too, would like it if there were closed captions on your videos. But realistically I don’t think it will work on “Live” videos. I do know that usually the next day, the captions are on the video. Thanks for all that you and Mario do for us. I doubt that most of us viewers have a clue about making a video. Keep making and always do You! Sending big hugs from Atlanta, GA. Joan Kappers

    • @timholtz
      @timholtz  Год назад +42

      RUclips does not offer captions for LIVEstreams. Once a LIVE ends, RUclips processes the content and auto-generates captions making the CC button appear on the video. Currently the "Auto-translate" feature that allows the viewer to change the language of the captions is not working on RUclips which is out of my control.
