I really hope they make the entire game more grounded and immersive, in GTA V 99% of the buildings are essentially just giant concrete blocks without any intractability, giving more buildings fully fleshed out interiors will really make the game feel truly immersive and livable

I think the idea of Key west and the Everglades is fantastic in GTA 6. Imagine going down the highway to the Keys or being attacked by alligators in the Everglades. If they have the same realistic movement patterns as Red dead 2, GTA 6 could be a masterpiece.
I've been saying forever, if they just make a modern RD2 with some upgrades and tweaks, it'd be the best simulation to date. Eager to see how the NPC Ai and wanted levels work. One of the best parts of RD2 was the NPC Ai and interactions.

Yeah, it literally was the point but now all big developers and businesses in general are scared they'll be harassed by the masses of people who get offended about things that don't even effect them for fun. I really hope that the car modifications will be as realistic as possible, i also wonder what new military grade vehicles will be available to purchase/steal/modify or build from recked to brand new. Furthermore, it would be great if GTA 6 made it possible to expand the map to make it possible to travel to different countries by visa or citizenship for instance. This includes visual animations of your online character bording a flight/handing in the luggage/walking around before your flight or flying there yourself. I think it would be mind-blowing if they added some part of the United Kingdom for the first time. Similarly to Cayo Perico, where you can scout around. But in GTA 6, it will be more free and available when spawning in your property you bought in that part of the map. I hope that we can finally sell our property with restorations or modifications to your rooms. Mentioning this, I also think it would be great to add in a feature to sell your items or cars in an online auction room with a starting price, of course.
I think that's why they cut part of the world out of development for future updates, like you said with Cayo Perico except we'll actually get to freely travel between cities. Traveling to South America, eg) smuggling...
asking to move between countries would probably make the starting map a lot less diverse. i’d be cool with this if it was a future update or something but i think this idea is too broad

Not many people are going to want to play it after 6 at this rate anyway because the current climate of overly sanitised humourless culture will have totally sucked any fun out of the game by then. We're already living in a world where a game about dangerous psychopathic criminals can't have any character say anything even slightly risque in case someone who gets offended about things as a hobby decides to rile up the other equally humourless people on the internet to whine en masse and harass the creators.
Some of these features can be removed in the final game, many developers try out many features that the final game can have, and eventually choose the ones that they deem the most important for fans, and removing other ones.

I swear the antiwoke crowd is so sensitive these days that they take offense to something not being offensive. I thought it was just the nostalgia of turning 40 and trying to catch up on all the PS2 games i missed that lead me to Liberty City and Vice City stories to try and complete them this summer. But no, it's GTA 6 HYPE!
it would be super cool if they took a survival turn for realism but still keep it as the gta we know and love, just with added elements from top survival titles like dayz. having an inventory with specific sections of your characters clothes as inventory space, bigger items having higher capacity. weather & immune systems where you have to basically dress for the weather, like being too hot if u have big jackets on in the sun, causing your character to dehydrate and eventually pass out or something like that. you could get drenched if you aren't wearing waterproof in the rain, and possibly catch pneumonia if out in the cold and wet for too long, making your character unable to sprint for the duration of being sick or something. manual gear systems in vehicles could be a thing, having buttons to flick up and down gears in manual vehicles with an extremely slower wheel return speed, making driving feel way more realistic, and i feel if u add character health damage on car crashes along with the manual gear system and lower wheel return rate, it will make players be a lot more cautious when they're driving if they know 1 bad bump at high speed could end their current endeavours. bare in mind these are just ideas lol. i am a huge dayz fan, and gta, and i honestly believe merging them together in 1 game is literally THE perfect open world game we've wanted for a long time. small things like being able to hunt animals, skin them and then cook them on a campfire that you built yourself from bushes and trees. activities like this in games are what players want when we don't want to do actual events/jobs/assigned tasks. sometimes we just want to hang out on the top of a mountain with the boys cooking steaks on an open fire while owls and crickets murmur. car meets are nice social events, but they get repetitive fast and it gets old real quick. we need variety, options, a way to create our own stories when we don't want to repeat the same sh*t 5 times a day.
So long as maintaining those stats doesn't get in the way as much as Roman's desire to bowl, I think it could be ok. Personally, I'd rather a system closer to Fallout's well rested bonus, as it doesn't penalize you for focusing solely on other aspects of the game, but does reward you for engaging with these other mechanics. Mostly, I think it'd just be weird for a game focused on being an open world crime simulator to focus so much on survival mechanics (it'd be badass if we got difficulties though, cause this would be far better for a hard mode than purely bloating enemy stats would be. Hell, adding back the weapon wheel and forcing automatics could easily make for a nice easy mode). Manual transmissions for some cars could be really fun (and I doubt we'll get the air control of V, so shift and control could easily be used for shifting), and it'd add another layer of vehicle customization.
If these features that you've mentioned are true, then it is clear that they're taking a large inspiration from the GTA V RP servers, which I think is great because they are a lot of fun to play in and watch and I think that they have really carried the game through the past few years where the online extras that Rockstar has done hasn't been able to maintain as much of a fan base as the RP servers have. I muchly prefer the realness of the RP servers in comparison to the basics in GTA V, and for anyone who hasn't seen those features in the RP servers, it's worth checking out, although the in-game features will run a lot smoother than the RP servers animations do. With that said, it could just be that everything you've mentioned could be in a dedicated rockstar GTA VI server(s) for RP, as it wasn't really something that existed properly until the last few years, now they've seen how it works and might decide it's better to officially run those things which would also be really cool if all players are allowed to play in it. I don't mind if they add more stuff to the game after release or not, it doesn't really matter to me because I know I can get a decade of fun out of playing an un-updated GTA game 😂🤷🏼♂️ But that would be cool to play through, depending if we're only getting the two characters tho. I'd like to be able to play on 3 or more characters. I feel that I wouldn't play as the female protagonist as much as I would for the male antagonist unless I absolutely have to. But the thing is, everything we've seen from the leaks could have been changed already. It wouldn't be hard for rockstar to change everything and it wouldn't be a far fetched thought that even the leaked protagonists could just be acting mode characters and not even the real thing. I'm not saying that it's happening like that or that anything I've said is true, I don't know, and neither do you but the thing about GTA taking inspiration from the RP servers is the one thing that I can bet my life on happening. Either way, I'm pumped, can't wait, and I'd pay a good amount of money for the game too.
Nothing spells realism like GTA RP's truck space program! Just gently ram the super car into the shockingly light truck, and watch as the scuffed vehicle statistics do all the work.
My biggest wish for GTA 6 is that they don’t add any crazy vehicles to online. Specifically flying vehicles with lock on missles, buyable tanks etc, or anything with explosive rounds. I think those things make the game way less fun.

I pray that they bring back single player DLC or at the very least update the single player so it has all the content of multiplayer. That's what ruined GTA V for most people, this game will be a turning point for Rockstar. Either they choose to make extra money or a legendary piece of art that will out their name in the history books.

Completion of the campaign will reward you 8 in game credits to buy 1 can of sprunk, drinking the sprunk will incurr a charge of 8.99. Further enjoyment of the game will require you to buy shark cards that will allow you to buy a fraction of 1% of other game content

i don't have a doubt that there are talent capable to make gta 6 as good or better than previous episodes, but takes two is not looking ready to put the necessary amount of money on the table. we will have streets empty of pedestrians, limited interaction with pnj, not a lot of dialogs and radios. stuff like that that will make the game not bad, but not as good and immersive as previous episodes.

I really hope that the car modifications will be as realistic as possible, i also wonder what new military grade vehicles will be available to purchase/steal/modify or build from recked to brand new. Furthermore, it would be great if GTA 6 made it possible to expand the map to make it possible to travel to different countries by visa or citizenship for instance. This includes visual animations of your online character bording a flight/handing in the luggage/walking around before your flight or flying there yourself. I think it would be mind-blowing if they added some part of the United Kingdom for the first time. Similarly to Cayo Perico, where you can scout around. But in GTA 6, it will be more free and available when spawning in your property you bought in that part of the map. I hope that we can finally sell our property with restorations or modifications to your rooms. Mentioning this, I also think it would be great to add in a feature to sell your items or cars in an online auction room with a starting price, of course.
I think that's why they cut part of the world out of development for future updates, like you said with Cayo Perico except we'll actually get to freely travel between cities. Traveling to South America, eg) smuggling...

Not many people are going to want to play it after 6 at this rate anyway because the current climate of overly sanitised humourless culture will have totally sucked any fun out of the game by then. We're already living in a world where a game about dangerous psychopathic criminals can't have any character say anything even slightly risque in case someone who gets offended about things as a hobby decides to rile up the other equally humourless people on the internet to whine en masse and harass the creators.
Some of these features can be removed in the final game, many developers try out many features that the final game can have, and eventually choose the ones that they deem the most important for fans, and removing other ones.

I thought it was just the nostalgia of turning 40 and trying to catch up on all the PS2 games i missed that lead me to Liberty City and Vice City stories to try and complete them this summer. But no, it's GTA 6 HYPE!
it would be super cool if they took a survival turn for realism but still keep it as the gta we know and love, just with added elements from top survival titles like dayz. having an inventory with specific sections of your characters clothes as inventory space, bigger items having higher capacity. weather & immune systems where you have to basically dress for the weather, like being too hot if u have big jackets on in the sun, causing your character to dehydrate and eventually pass out or something like that. you could get drenched if you aren't wearing waterproof in the rain, and possibly catch pneumonia if out in the cold and wet for too long, making your character unable to sprint for the duration of being sick or something. manual gear systems in vehicles could be a thing, having buttons to flick up and down gears in manual vehicles with an extremely slower wheel return speed, making driving feel way more realistic, and i feel if u add character health damage on car crashes along with the manual gear system and lower wheel return rate, it will make players be a lot more cautious when they're driving if they know 1 bad bump at high speed could end their current endeavours.
bare in mind these are just ideas lol. i am a huge dayz fan, and gta, and i honestly believe merging them together in 1 game is literally THE perfect open world game we've wanted for a long time. small things like being able to hunt animals, skin them and then cook them on a campfire that you built yourself from bushes and trees. activities like this in games are what players want when we don't want to do actual events/jobs/assigned tasks. sometimes we just want to hang out on the top of a mountain with the boys cooking steaks on an open fire while owls and crickets murmur. car meets are nice social events, but they get repetitive fast and it gets old real quick. we need variety, options, a way to create our own stories when we don't want to repeat the same sh*t 5 times a day.
So long as maintaining those stats doesn't get in the way as much as Roman's desire to bowl, I think it could be ok. Personally, I'd rather a system closer to Fallout's well rested bonus, as it doesn't penalize you for focusing solely on other aspects of the game, but does reward you for engaging with these other mechanics. Mostly, I think it'd just be weird for a game focused on being an open world crime simulator to focus so much on survival mechanics (it'd be badass if we got difficulties though, cause this would be far better for a hard mode than purely bloating enemy stats would be. Hell, adding back the weapon wheel and forcing automatics could easily make for a nice easy mode). Manual transmissions for some cars could be really fun (and I doubt we'll get the air control of V, so shift and control could easily be used for shifting), and it'd add another layer of vehicle customization.

If these features that you've mentioned are true, then it is clear that they're taking a large inspiration from the GTA V RP servers, which I think is great because they are a lot of fun to play in and watch and I think that they have really carried the game through the past few years where the online extras that Rockstar has done hasn't been able to maintain as much of a fan base as the RP servers have.
I muchly prefer the realness of the RP servers in comparison to the basics in GTA V, and for anyone who hasn't seen those features in the RP servers, it's worth checking out, although the in-game features will run a lot smoother than the RP servers animations do.
With that said, it could just be that everything you've mentioned could be in a dedicated rockstar GTA VI server(s) for RP, as it wasn't really something that existed properly until the last few years, now they've seen how it works and might decide it's better to officially run those things which would also be really cool if all players are allowed to play in it.
I don't mind if they add more stuff to the game after release or not, it doesn't really matter to me because I know I can get a decade of fun out of playing an un-updated GTA game 😂🤷🏼♂️
But that would be cool to play through, depending if we're only getting the two characters tho. I'd like to be able to play on 3 or more characters. I feel that I wouldn't play as the female protagonist as much as I would for the male antagonist unless I absolutely have to. But the thing is, everything we've seen from the leaks could have been changed already.
It wouldn't be hard for rockstar to change everything and it wouldn't be a far fetched thought that even the leaked protagonists could just be acting mode characters and not even the real thing.
I'm not saying that it's happening like that or that anything I've said is true, I don't know, and neither do you but the thing about GTA taking inspiration from the RP servers is the one thing that I can bet my life on happening.
Either way, I'm pumped, can't wait, and I'd pay a good amount of money for the game too.

Hope it's worth the wait. It will be disappointing if on every other thing seen in the leaks we'll say "oh dang this is cut content".
My biggest wish for GTA 6 is that they don’t add any crazy vehicles to online. Specifically flying vehicles with lock on missles, buyable tanks etc, or anything with explosive rounds. I think those things make the game way less fun.

I pray that they bring back single player DLC or at the very least update the single player so it has all the content of multiplayer. That's what ruined GTA V for most people, this game will be a turning point for Rockstar. Either they choose to make extra money or a legendary piece of art that will out their name in the history books.

i don't have a doubt that there are talent capable to make gta 6 as good or better than previous episodes, but takes two is not looking ready to put the necessary amount of money on the table. we will have streets empty of pedestrians, limited interaction with pnj, not a lot of dialogs and radios. stuff like that that will make the game not bad, but not as good and immersive as previous episodes.
