hey guys just so you know BetterHelp is actually selling a lot of very personal information to social media platforms so you shouldn't support them. its really messed up
the only I'm interested in about that movie is how much money they wasted on that stupid... LMAO - budget hasn't been disclosed, but apparently world wide box office is 16k$, that K, not M, and it's been out for few months
Didn’t life of pi also film the ocean scenes on a huge water tank?? The green screened water is still seamless in that movie! “A tank doesn’t have the right waves” my ass
It’s a genuinely great film, and I had no idea the water was CGI when watching it until this moment. It’s Oscar-nominated for the acting, which is what the water helps to sell. That’s what CGI should do in this context - boost the acting performance. Tbh the marketing of it was terrible and I didn’t watch it for ages because it looked terrible until I actually sat down and gave it a try. Makes sense that the box office would be bad.
Man, Sam got destroyed this video, the poor no-cocaine bear. Professionally by Niko, linguistically in the edit, and then physically by a fire extinguisher. Stay strong buddy, you're one of our three favorite hosts of the show!
I was in the park a while back with my wee boy teaching him how to ride his bike, and there were some young guys maybe about 12 or 13 years old filming each other on their phones running around with Nerf guns - and one of them was chasing them about on a hoverboard, doing this big long sweeping shot from behind his friend. When I see stuff like that I think, "yeah, the kids are going to be just fine actually".

Hi I actually cut sound on Nyad. Cool to see things I worked on surprise me here! Yeah vfx was nuts. On every iteration of the water vfx I had to cut in more mouth splashing sounds, because the water levels went higher up on her face each time. By the end I was in a pool with my daughter recording her breaths while I splashed at her. So I guess a small part of AB's Oscar nomination belongs to my daughter.
Was there a different editor this episode? It was funnier than most. The little cutaways of Niko destroying Sam, Wren's self-congratulatory claps popped in at the right time, Sam's lykes on screen... It was great.
