Thanks for watching!
We have the same Oliver, except the twin bed model. There are some important features not fully explained in this episode. With it’s 4 shells (2 upper and 2 lower) all plumbing and electrical lines, along with the insulation are between the shells and accessible for maintenance/repair. That way there is nothing dangling below the camper. There is NO wood in the camper except the Oliver built, dovetailed drawers. So, with the floor being vinyl covered fiberglass, there is nothing to rot if there is an interior plumbing leak. When I picked ours up in January of 2021, it was snowing and that evening it was 21°. I found a boondocking spot, set the furnace to 65° and slept well that night. Our Oliver is everything we need and nothing we don’t. We love it.
Thank you for this additional information!
Deisel heater?
This is the best travel travel trailer ive ever seen. Excellent. Love everything.about this trailer. Where do you buy this oliver at. This exact trailer and the cost. I want one. The quality is no.1. You pay for what you get. What is the size of this trailer. The length. Whata trailer. The gentleman owner is super. He explained everything in detail. He has a beautiful voice. The oliver legacy 4 season trailer is for 2 people and a king size bed. Wow.wow.wow.wow. thank you. Love this type of videos. A big fan jan from texas.
Love the trailer!
TY for this additional info! Would you mind sharing what one of these costs? Its exquisite!
Oliver trailers are expensive, but if it's your home it's totally worth it, and not that expensive compared to an actual house. I think Oliver is the best of all the live-in-it-full-time fiberglass camper trailers. I love how neat and clean this gentleman keeps his home, and I'm glad he travels with a dog.
I like to put it into perspective for folks that are trying to compare to the stick and staple trailers. An Oliver will retain it's original value for years if well maintained. But here's a good comparison. A nice fiberglass bass boat will cost just as much or more, and thousands are sold every year just to go fishing. Your Oliver is a second or maybe even primary home when you buy it.
Oh this is very nice. Beautiful trailer. We live full time in a 33ft 5th wheel. Actually Bob was the man who helped me talk my husband into full-time RV living. We gave our son our big house and even left the furniture lol I took more than I really wanted and have a now smaller storage unit, soon everything will be gone, I feel lighter without tons of things. I was once a shopping nut lol stopped that and saved so much . I cook inside everyday, I've learned to use the space well. I always thought why are we living in a big house ? Our oldest son needed a house, our grandchildren deserve a nice home and our son was priced out of housing. My husband and I could have sold our home " we were 40 miles " north east " of Washington DC, housing prices were skyrocketing, so when we had so much our son needed we were so happy to help. The big move included my husband taking a job transfer from Charles Town West Virginia lol we moved too Terrell Texas and onto family property, we have electric, water and sewer. I learned so much from Bob Wells.
I love our Ollie, it’s a bit tight for two of us with two big dogs, but it’s so well made and efficient. Like many, we came from the Airstream community.
Bob, thank you so much for the tour of your home. You are wise to choose a trailor that would support your life on the road in all the seasons.
With your years of experience on the road you chose something that was just right for you. Thank you Bob and Brian.
These videos, along with the interesting participants, are ever so helpful & encouraging. Thank you! 😊
The trailer is such a clean and functional design, it does not feel claustrophobic at all. Thanks for the tour of your home Bob.
Absolutely love the Oliver. We toured the factory a year ago. The build quality of the things inside the walls and what you cannot see is every bit as incredible as the visible things. Expensive? Yes. But well worth it. When/If our van goes away, Oliver will be our choice. We also have toured the Casita factory. Great units as well but the Oliver is tops. There's a reason why the Oliver is almost twice the cost of a Casita.
Could not afford it. Wish they made a 13” minus bathroom with outdoor shower. Under 1500 lbs. I could pull with a 4 cylinder.
Thank you Bob and Brian for this absolutely gorgeous Oliver tour!🌷
BOB, I LOVE your trailer!!! This is my favorite of all the years!!! Thank You So Much for allowing Brian to show all of us. Love to You and your travels!!! XOXO
Oliver offers 3 battery options from 400ah AGM to two Lithium choices of 390 and 640 which can run the AC for a time. The 340 watt solar does a nice job keeping things charged.
Thanks Ken for the additional information. I have been looking at all the videos concerning Oliver’s and I was aware of the Lithium option but I didn’t know whether the solar would be sufficient. I’m in GA so I will have to go to Tennessee and get that factory tour scheduled.
Many years ago (late 1970's) hubby and I bought a 35 5th wheel and hit the road. That was home for over 10 years. We did spend northern winters but only had one blizzard experience south of the Twin Cities in MN. We were fine and warm but not a good feeling not having any visibility except inside our "tunnel". Enjoy, it was a wonderful life on the road.
I cannot imagine myself in such a great trailer but I honestly wish I could. I am jealous of all the people you andBob interview. You do a great job! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful stories and adventures for the rest of us stuck at home. Meanwhile I continue to dream. Thanks and May God bless you. Marie from South Carolina
MM, being Stuck at 🏡 is not all bad - more X to consider ALL options & research the things you need and learning you may not Need as much as some think🤔. I have a new 4 seasons PT in my barnyard - not yet used due to health issues. Sad -however has given me a Year to Think!
I was full Xer before but things were different/ people were not SO volatile? Then..
So I'm having serious 2nd thoughts as well. I do have 12 very good reasons to hesitate (6) are live animals & 6 ? -Is that the Best for me.
Awfully comfy / serene country place Here..
Love your home. Thank you for sharing with us. I wonder where you are from originally. I am 71 years living in SWAustralia in Dalyellup with the Indian Ocean and southern forests. It is very beautiful. I am originally from BangorNorth Ireland first 21years and 9 years England andr rest here. I am unable to work out your accent - it is a lovely one by the way. Anyway safe and fun travels to you from Shirley. Shalom
I really love the clean lines of the interior. Other trailer lines could learn a lot from this.
Great job. So many smart solutions, plenty of comfortable space, lovely to look at.
I love seeing the high end and the low end and everything in between on this channel. So very helpful.
High class "Airstream level" hand built, top quality (except maybe for lights?😉) At it's $65,000+ price tag, this is one high stepping 'boondocking rig'.
Wow! Perfect full time home. Taking my cues from this summer's heat wave, I wonder how long the ac lasts with the solar if solar continually pulls in. It's so rare in these days to find quality that we're all shocked. What a pity. Thank you for this lovely tour, and it was brilliant to see comments from other Oliver owners.
Absolutely I can imagine being out in subzero temps camping. Whatever I decide on must be 4 season. What I don't handle well is the heat.
I'm with you, Margaret!
I imagine going to the northwoods with my sleddogs in the winter.
Best part to me about cold weather camping is the lack of bugs !
What a beautiful trailer, so bright and light. I love fiberglass trailers if you take care of them it’ll last. Oliver’s are pricey but it is his home so yes it’s worth it. Great interview
I loved Bob's awesome Oliver. The trailer is so equipped and beautiful.
Great trailer and interview! We’re on the edge of selecting a vehicle v trailer and this Oliver really is in the running. That is as of this morning!! Thank for confusing us even more! LOL! Actually, your channel is so very much appreciated. We are indebted to you!!
Great video featuring a nice full-timer in an Oliver LE2. We will be taking possession of Hull #1373 in a couple weeks. First stop will be the annual Oliver Rally at Lake Guntersville, AL the following week. Can't wait to meet lots of fellow owners and enthusiastic hopefuls.
My opinion,Oliver is the best, most new trailers are junk Oliver's are very well built
Great video Brian and great camper review with Bob's 4 season trailer. I met you at the Dollar Rd dispersed camping area near Telluride Colorado a couple of weeks ago, where you helped save another camper's solar panels and controller from going up in flames. You happened to see them smoking and disconnected them, while Dave, the owner of the RV was away and in town visiting Telluride. Can't wait to retire to spend more time RVing with my Great Pyrenees Camo. The CheapRVliving channel is great and truly inspirational, thank you gents!!!
Awesome trailer and I will definitely consider an Oliver trailer when the time comes to go full-time. Now I have a truck with a pop-up truck camper & travel during the winter to get away from the Wisconsin winters. Thank you for sharing a really cool rig.
It would be perfect! He also has storage in his truck, too, so bonus. I love this trailer. Thank you for the tour and happy adventures to Bob.
Very cool little camper. We are new to RVing. Always tented. Never thought I'd do anything else. Then we got older, sleeping on the ground started hurting. Was giving camping gear to our son. So we bought a 24 foot Thor coach motor home last October (2021). Didn't want to pull anything. Looked a A LOT of options. Even looked at building an older van into a camper. But settled on the motor home. Then...... We had a lot of fun adventures on our "to do list" for this summer. But the gas prices and my husband switching jobs due to an injury. We stayed close to home and family. I have learned a lot about dos and don't s . I'm not so intimidated about the propane, black and grey water..... The dumping. When to use and not use the generator. Oh so many things. We even did a boondocking weekend with family and friends. We aren't retired, yet. So our jobs dictate a bit when we can go. But in the future we will be taking longer trips to some camping spots, KOAs, boondocking just wherever the road takes us. The best part of all of this is that we can visit family and friends, go to fun places to explore and have our 4 smaller figs and traveling car with us. It's amazing. Plus because we have a really small house it's our guest house when someone visits 👍😊 thank you to everyone who shares their wisdom on this site.
I had a casita in 21 loved it but the Oliver is like casita on steroids ! Definitely my next camper !
Oh yes - this has been masterfully designed. The attention to details are sublime. Great home. My kind of ride.
I just love the people we met here living the minimalist vehicle lifestyle. They are just as important to see as the vehicles.
The Oliver is very beautiful I've never seen one before, but I'm just learning that it's so many ways to live the Nomadic life, but this gives you all the comforts of home. Very fancy 👌 thanks Brian safe travels everyone.
Oliver, the finest travel trailer available today.
Nice work.
Very nice. I have this on my possibilities list.
Good narration Brian. You are such a good asset to Bob and his vision.
I really enjoyed this tour
So organised and such a lovely ambience.
I bought a Casita, and appreciate the Fiberglass trailers! I really love this 23 foot trailer too. They were just more money!! Nice interview, cheerful voice from interviewer.
I own an Escape 21C and very happy with it, Oliver makes the top of the line molded fiberglass trailer, yes quite an upfront cost but in this case you get what you pay for.
Such a lovely interview and tour. The setup is well thought out and it’s easy to imagine myself living in one. I’m glad to see the composting option. Thanks Bob & Brian.
loved seeing the doggos meeting each other through the window. beautiful trailer.
Excellent everything was done, said, portrayed excellently. I can see myself with one touring country! Thanks for sharing.
Best Travel trailer on the inside and outside I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing Brian ☺️
Very cozy home with all you need! Roomy and functional.
Yes, that is very good!
6'7" ceiling is a huge deal. I had been looking at the Casitas and rejected that option because of the low ceiling.
Great camper! I could easily live in it ! Your videos are also great and very informative. Keep up the great work. Ty
That is the most amazing trailer. I like the see thru cabinets, the white walls and abundance of windows. It’s also cool that they offer a composting toilet. Such an incredible tour Brian!
I LOVE this "Oliver", and I'd go for the king bed too! I'm going to check into this, thank you for sharing
Thank you SO much Brian and Bob! I’m in a Casita which I love and have always wanted to see fiberglass trailers which allow for 4 seasons (I’m in Colorado). The additional space is so appealing too. Now I have an idea!
I truly love the Casita and would be happy in it or in a scamp, but with my allergies and bronchitis problems, I simply could not have that carpeting or whatever that material is on the walls.
@@nmr3352 The carpet is polypropylene and should not bother your allergies (ask the Casita folks to be certain). I love mine, hope you can own one.
I really like this trailer!! I’ve never seen one like it before. He keeps it so nice and organized! Love it!!
Cheers
Love this trailer! Would def be comfortable staying in this trailer during cold months.
Truly the 4 Season Oliver is the best for 4 season travel.
Great interview and tour! I like the trailer with its open feeling with the white and high ceiling.
Brilliant - thank you for sharing your camper's design and amenities.
Amazing! I can see myself enjoying the Oliver! So safe and well built. I think the sound proof aspect is a real plus! Thank you for sharing.
Very nice!
That is very modern and contemporary living. So happy for him. 👍
Oh wow, that's very nice! And no way for it to leak if the things on the roof are properly installed and maintained. Lovely. No rust, no rot!!!! Nice one Brian.
Really , terrific four season trailor! A couple of years ago, I watched a video of the manufacturer of the " Oliver".Very impressive, expensive, but ,well worth!Thank you for sharing!😀👌
Thanks for the tour lads. It reminded me of a high end yacht interior, and although I could never splurge on such a gorgeous camper, it doesn't stop me from noting some of the layouts for a tiny house design 😍😊
Wow, I've never seen one of these! It's amazing! Thank you Brian and Bob for the great tour and information about the Oliver!
Another great video Brian.
cleanest walls I've ever seen. I wish I could get my place as clean!!!!!
Great video, Brian! Thank you, Bob, for showing us your beautiful trailer 🌼
I would love to sit down with the gentleman and discuss his route plans!
Great trailer!!!!! Awesome tour - THANK YOU BOTH!!!! ♥
Beautiful and very well built camper. Yes it’s definitely expensive, but considering it won’t rust or rot,and probably minimal issues with future leaks, it’d be worth it if you could afford it. Also if you kept the save income level as before living in the trailer and you didn’t have to spend it on RV parks you could save a lot of money boondocking. Awesome full time 4 season home!
And that - would be my dream RV. There isn’t anything about it that I don’t love. Such a beautiful home.
I think it would be great here in PA
That was the best camper I've seen yet. So very luxurious.
Thanks for sharing, I wish you had talked more about what makes the Oliver a 4 season camper.
I could live comfortably and happily in one like this. Wow! Definitely super nice and comfortable
Love him and that voice. He’d make a great storyteller
Olivers are awesome-looking trailers and you gotta love the fiberglass...Bob also had a great chill vibe...seems like an interesting bloke...would love to hear some of his adventures!
Very nice!!! very boat like.
Thank you, Brain and Bob! Beautiful and functional travel trailer!
Sweet home on wheels, love the trailer it’s really great it has everything and the fact that it’s 4 seasons definitely a win win! Thank you for sharing your home with us.
great tour Brian! I really LOVE that trailer!!
Yes I cam imagine I've looked at those campers very nice and expensive also but worth every dollar I'm sure it's nice
That's a nice travel trailer. Great video Brian and CRVL Crew. Thank you. ❤❤❤
You can buy 3-7 houses for the price of these in certain places of the USA but they'll all hovels relative to an Oliver, however you do get a yard for your dogs to pee in. For 100k you can get one with 640ah of lithium iron phosphate batteries in it plus a few other goodies not on this one.
Love this…. Especially when cooking protects the bed…
Absolutely beautiful! Miss Bob but you are doing a great job. Thank you🌸
He is great and so is his Oliver
Great job, Brian. Nice to watch you come into your own on the channel.
This is my dream rig. I would love to pair it up with an F-150 Hybrid with the 7+ Kw onboard generator. With a roof full of solar, a composting toilet, and plenty of water and dry goods in the back of the pickup, you could stay off grid for quite a long time.
That's a beauty. Travel safely & be well
It would be interesting to hear about his towing experience with the Ram 5.7. We tow a Casita with the same engine without issue, but the Oliver is twice the weight.
Many people tow with the 5.7 and are happy with it. My Oliver comes in just about 6,000 pounds and tows like a dream.
I couldn't do it and be legal, that's for sure. Total payload capacity on the ones I have looked at was only around 1,500 lbs. and the tongue weight is 700+ of that. So my weight, fuel, any other passenger(s), spare, tools, camper shell, anything else in the bed, etc. would have to total less than 800 lbs.
If anything I would want to beef up the towing vehicle. Go for at least a three-quarter ton long bed truck. In an extreme wind situation or quick stopping, would certainly be advantageous.
What a sweet unit! I'd like to see this one motorized.
Nice! I'd like to see a few, up-close and inside. Thanks for the tour!
My favourite trailer! Congrats!
WOW WOW!
Great interview and tour. Bob seems to have had a life well lived. Inspirational man. Thank you.
He seems like such a delight!
Nice trailer! Thanks for the tour.
Very nice! Love the height! I love Fiberglass trailers!
Excellent information , I never saw one of those Oliver , thanks for the video,
boy oh boy, now thats nice!
We really like our Oliver Hull #634!
