I think my best was 8 or something. I played her first arena for her ... and actually got 12-0 for the first time. I don't remember all the rewards (dust - gold don't remember how much), but I remember this. She got a golden Ysera off that Lightforge key ... She's 12 years old now, doesn't play much. The other day, she opened her free WotOG packs. The first pack had a golden Yogg saron. And me ? well ... I am better at arena now, and get to 12 wins on occasion ... but when it comes to card RNG, draft RNG, packs/rewards RNG, I still am getting obliterated by my rank 18 niece ... that just sucks.

That's Hearthstone for you. If you're lucky and dodge the punishes you can get 12 wins with medium quality deck. If you're unlucky, you end up at just few wins with extremely good deck.

Is anyone else seeing a surprising amount of legendaries lately? I went 30+ drafts in a row without getting one, then drafted one yesterday. Then today I drafted a Dr. Boom and faced 3 straight decks with drafted legendaries (not discovered). Seems like maybe Blizzard upped the frequency of drafting legendaries.

Statistically yes, you are correct but practically kripp does have basically some of the best cards you can hope for in arena, because cards like shredder often are Much more flexible than a legendary like boom rated higher.

At the moment, I'd say there is literally only like Death's bite, Truesilver, Fire elemental and maybe flame wreathed faceless that are class cards (or neutral even) on a similar ranking as Flametrike, and faceless summoner (in the common slot). I think shredder and zombie chow are good but are on the same level as a decent amount of cards (bog creeper, nerubian prophet, etc) but having multiple shredders and zombie chows are what really seals the deal imo.
Ysaarj and flamestrike are in the top 5 on thelightforge's tier list (for mage) and Faceless Summoner and Flamestrike (only Dr Boom trumps it) are both in the top 5 for mage in HearthArena's tier list.
"I might have to remake this video" I'm pretty sure that's more "will" than "might". Honestly surprised it didn't happen with Rogue, but this deck is just all around nuts.

Some top streamers like Hafu and Ratsmah have spoken about this and I believe Hafu has actually tested that when she makes a new account and tries arena out for the first time she gets a crazy deck and does amazing.

I hate arena since the ne expansion, I was at a winrate about 70% before the expansion... and then I felt down to winrate about 60%. Esspacialy at early stats I meet more and more decks, i usualy sa at 9 wins oder 10 wins before. It seems that they ruined the matchmaking in any way for me...
Oh, boo hoo, your MMR in a free card game went down ten percent. Grinding Arena in HS is not worth the time. The best I've ever gotten in Arena is a "paltry" six wins, and that's with a Rag. You only average nine wins now instead of ten? Boo hoo hoo. You're short like ten gold, and have twenty minutes more of your life in return.

i´ve faced sooo many brutaly good mage decks recently. feels like they get insanly good drafts to me. they always have cabalist tome, fireball, faceless summoner, frost bolt, mana wyrm, flamewaker, conjurer, etc the decks ive seen in the past few days in arena border to the current constructed decks, when your opponent has 2 2/3 (buffed mana wyrms) and one 3/2 on board on turn 2, you just feela liiiitle bit f*cked in the butt
Yes because a one drop's stats would be higher in a ratio compared to larger cards. The issue that comes with playing lots of 1 and 2 drops comes with running out of cards. So if your deck doesn't have a lot of card draw you will run out of cards turn 6. That's why some classes are better at playing a lower curve (warlock) more consistently.
I got a legit N'zoth deck in arena, still ended up 11/3, fkin mages and extreme RNG, two yogg servants that worked in his favor(one gave mirror entity and one gave explorers gat to one of his minions, i had 4 minions he had two) never lucky ; . ;
