as much as i love all the regulars on Time Team, my favorite episodes involve digging around schools, and in these episodes Paul Blinkhorn stands out, he's so good with the kids. wonderful chap!
Wikipedia says "In December 2009, the United Kingdom became the first European country to deploy high-definition content using the new DVB-T2 transmission standard, as specified in the Digital TV Group (DTG) D-book, on digital terrestrial television". The most recent of these 3 episodes was from series 15, which originally aired in 2008. So none of this was intended to be broadcast in HD, and therefore wouldn't have been recorded in HD!
RUclips keeps unscribing me, at least once a week lately. Everyone should check their subscriptions. It's happening with quite a few channels I'm noticing. Not sure if it's a country thing or YT itself. It all seems to have started last week.

I agree. I’m sure a pub visit with Paul would be legendary too.
thank you ,love the classics
Nice. Wonder how many of those kids went on to study Archaeology, History, etc when they left school?😊
As a new detectorist, this is fascinating
Hæhæhæh ... I STILL think that the geophys results look like a QR-code! ^^
I love all these videos. They are fabulous
Love the classics.
The third segment isn’t the Georgian mansion in Somerset - it’s the “manor moat” in Wales, from season 18.
Thanks.

Come on Time Team, much as we love these classics, why is the video quality so bad on the youtube releases? The originals cannot possibly be this bad.
They really are, by the way.
How to say you know nothing about video format....
