I had an E350 Mercedes I was always concerned about driving it. Where I live this jeep does the trick. Don't mind driving it dirty and it's good on gas to boot.
Have a jeep wrangler that I love . Was looking for something to camp and haul a kayak with and this seems to fit the bill! Also.. this is the first year they offered the 6 speed automatic over the dreaded CVT. And people forget the patriot gets pretty good gas mileage for a boxy suv .
I just went from the PT Cruiser to this jeep, and i love it. took a little getting use to sitting up higher, and a change in blind spots, but it's not a gigantic SUV.
Hi, I leased this vehicle for my daughter, it is her first car. She loves it, however can you please explain how to engage the 4 wheel drive feature when it is snowing. Does she need to pull over or can she engage it while she is driving?
I know this is really late, but it's best to engage the 4 wheel (if you cannot stop) at the slowest speed possible while in neutral, then pull the switch up. Best to stop completely (you can be in drive) so it's easier on the CVT. I have an '11 I bought last year and absolutely love it.
would this be a good vehicle for a teen? I want my first car to be a jeep but not sure which jeep is best i really like the unlimited but i hear gas isnt to good. Any help?
TrendyCaliOG That I don't know. It should decent since it has a high safety rating and it's not a fast sports car. You can get a quote from an online insurance agency without any obligation.
Look at your spark plugs! I replaced mine just last weekend. It was jerking horribly during acceleration and under-performing in general. Runs loads better now. I have my work cut out for me with my 2011 Patriot though. Gas mileage has gone down to where I'm spending around $30-$40 a week on fueling up so I'll have to get to the bottom of that. Suspension is also crap. People before me didn't maintain it very well but I still love my Jeep!
this is the worst car i have ever had blind spot on passenger side head rest block line of site as well and can't be removed because it is part of the abs no cargo space slow and sluggish at a start driver side door molding dos not let you get your left arm in a comfortable position steering does not adjust to a point where you can drive comfortably after 30min your elbow will star to heart stay away from the 2015 I'm considering taking the hit and trading it in after only 4 weeks
he's right, the speakers are pretty damn good! I have no idea how
I also have a jeep patriot 2014 Blackhawk and it is a 2 wheel drive but its still a beauty

Would this be a good first jeep/suv coming from a small car? I'm thinking about getting one same trim, same color but in 4x4 trim.
Yes I think it would be a good choice. I suggest test-driving one if you haven't already.

The Patriot is a good choice. It is relatively less expensive and good on gas.

My patriot jeep makes a whistling sound while running, and sometimes will jerk. I'm new to jeeps, is this normal?

Hello at a Jeep Patriot, speed convoy 100, what is wrong
does it have a built in GPS?
no
Cheap ass radio where the navigation when I'm in the woods trying to escape the Blair witch??😱😱😱😱😱😱
Haha love your comment - but rest assured. Even if you don't know where to go, your Jeep will be able to handle the wooded path to witch-free safety.
I know , that’s why this model is now discontinued. Shame they didn’t wanna upgrade their “technology” smh not even BLUETOOTH!! So annoying
