Creamy Salmon & Spinach Linguine | Quick & Simple Pasta Dish | Easy Recipe

- Hi Everyone, long time no see! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I have a really quick and easy pasta dish that you can get on the dinner table in about half an hour. You can substitute the linguine for whatever pasta you have in the house.
Ingredients:
2 Salmon filets
Linguine (enough for 2 people + leftovers!)
1 bag of Spinach
150ml Single Cream
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Dried Tarragon
Half a lemon
Method:
1. Start with boiling your pasta of choice, make sure it is al dente and not over-cooked.
2. Whilst your pasta is cooking, make a start on cooking the fish. In a pan, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Season your salmon fillets with garlic salt, pepper and a couple of pinches of dried tarragon. Sear on each side for around 45 seconds. The salmon should not be cooked all the way through, but should have a nice dark colour on all sides.
3. When your pasta is ready to be drained, make sure you reserve some of the cooking water in a mug as you will use this in your sauce.
4. After removing the salmon from the pan, drain any excess oil and add in the cream. The heat on the pan should be low. Let the cream simmer for a few minutes, season with garlic salt, pepper and more tarragon. Stir occasionally.
5. Add in a whole bag of spinach. Stir in until. Once the spinach had wilted slightly, add in the cooked pasta. Add in a splash of the pasta water and stir vigorously.
6. Turn off the heat and add taste. Add some salt and pepper if necessary. Finish by squeezing in the juice of half a lemon, toss. Serve and enjoy!

I have been playing with Phillips Air Fryer for salmon. Salmon is plump and moist - more so than pan fried. Cusinart Griddler Deep Pan attachment works well to bring everything together. Love your recipes and enjoy the channel. Thanks from Australia

Your simple recipe ends up looks good but you broke 1 taboo in Italian cooking, which is you never ever ever breaks the pasta in halfs or whatever smaller sizes just to fit it in the pot. If the Italians cooking community sees this you would already have a contract on you to "sleep with the fishes" capish.
Lol I know, I just find it easier to cook and eat when it’s broken in half 😬 I hope the Italian cooking police don’t come and arrest me 😂
