In today's video, Chuck continues the video series on making a belt pouch. This series will show how to make the pouch from start to finish, spending some extra time on tools and materials that can be used in your shop to aid in your leatherworking. In this fourth video, we'll trim the wet molded main body to size, do edge work, and add a groove line for stitching. Chuck also goes over some of the tools you can use to achieve each of these steps.
Join us next week for Chapter 5 where Chuck will be dyeing, antiquing, and adding a top coat.

Fantastic series, Chuck. Every time I think I have seen it all, you pop up with something that inspires more creativity. 18:32 - That English point trimmed with the round end looked like the perfect Halloween decoration to symbolize a line of hanging bats. It might be cheesy but I saw some really neat ideas in this video. Keep up the good work and I will look for your live stream on Wednesday.

Chuck you should do a video on how to put leather on a box. I know it sounds simple but think of the possibilities!

"Boss wants me to say, 'that's going to negate our warranty.'" People named Boss tend to be sticklers for things like that.

Hey Chuck do you at any time do all your staining then punch your stitches in. I love using snow white thread but don't like it picking the color of stain up as I do my stitching. Any ideas will be of great help Thank you

hey I was wondering can you burnish suede
    and if so how

    • @WeaverLeatherSupply

      Hi Cole,
Suede will not burnish very well - your best bet is to use an edge paint or edge kote if you don't want the raw edge showing.
