FYI the gel highlighters do not bleed at first but after two years they bled through the pages of my life applications Bible. I used them during my one year read through so every page has some highlighting on them. The bible is now almost unreadable and I now use only mechanical pencil and erasable coloured pencils by Crayola in my bibles and occasionally Pigma Micron pens.
