Fort Hays is a great school. I'm an on campus student but I've taken several courses online. They are usually quite good as far as online courses are concerned but I still prefer in person courses. I feel that I personally am able to develop a dialogue with my professors in class and truly further my academic career. Fhsu is small and if you go to school here on campus your professors WILL know who you are which means strong letters of reference and a litany of other opportunities. Obviously this is not possible for every student and Fort Hays looks to accommodate for those students who can't be on campus without completely gouging students for money. FHSU has a cost of attendance that actually feels fair. The online program has the typical short comings associated with online learning anywhere but without ridiculously obscene tuition or added fees. With Fort Hays what you see is what you get. I would get an online degree from FHSU before any for profit school. The Fort Hays administration is dedicated to educating its student body before anything else.
