  • Even though I grew up as a coffee farmer in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, 99% of the coffee we produced was sold to European countries like Norway and my favourite warm drink is still spiced tea.

    I started taking 2 cloves a day. Not sure if I will be significant in my helping with joint pain but it is worth trying. I'll also try the tea.

      @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork  4 года назад +3

      Thank you for supporting me.It depends on how strong you want your tea though like in the video I used 2 ss (soup spoons) with 2 cups of water. Nonetheless I love experimenting with cooking so you can experiment and see what works for you. Recently I experimented with 5 other stuff and my tea was amazing. I guess I should share that too. A cup of tea can be an exploision of delicious spices that takes you on awonderful garden journey.

    I have tried clove tea recently. Farther advancing and enhancing the textures, taste, and effects I blended the clove with other ingredients such as lemon, garlic, ginger and turmeric. The taste & effects incredibly fantastic..

    How does one prepare milk with cloves?

    • @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork
      @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork  Год назад +1

      I have never tried with milk, please experiment and share with us your experience like I shared mine😊 but I think just like we have different types of tea bags in hot milk so maybe one can put 1- 3 cloves in a cup of hot milk and after 5 mins, maybe it would be delicious clove milk tea ever or something.

      Thank you for your response. I tried it out. Boiled some cloves in water as you did then added milk to it and left them to the heat to simmer. It tastes delicious. Thanks!

    Please can a nursing mother drink clove tea

    • @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork
      @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork  3 года назад

      I must say, I am not a medical personel. I recommend you ask your doctor as people we react to different stuff differently. As for me, when I was nursing I ate /drunk whatever I used to eat before in normal amounts. My philosophy about food is that too much of anything isnt good for me.

    I'm not seeing the steps. You jumped from cloves boiling to cloves tea. Did you seive it etc? The steps are not clear but this is a steps video.

    • @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork
      @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork  3 года назад

      Hei Felix, thank you for your feedback. I included in this video (text shows 2 spoons of cloves, 2 cups of water, cook until it boils, I said you can add honey or sugar if you want) You can decide to have more or less of the above measurements, you can seive or leave them in your cup for more aroma. You can add your own touch (maybe ginger and share with us your results ). I like experimenting with cooking to see what suits me.

    That's too much clove
    Clove is very powerful I used 8 cloves
    For one cup of tea and I feel numb
    So never ever use to much clove is my point
    Because now I'm starting to wonder if I messed up .

    • @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork
      @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork  Год назад

      Sorry about that. Thank you for sharing your experience too. I am not a health personel but 8 cloves for one cup of tea seems alot. I normally use 3 cloves for my cup but again that is me and these are my personal experiences/ perspectives which maybe different from one person to another.

    • @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork
      @IreneBisassoHoemNetwork  Год назад

      Thank you for feedback.
      Experiement with how much cloves you need, ( you may start with just 6 cloves) put in 2 cups of water and boil.
      Serve with sugar or honey.
      You reduce or add cloves depending on your taste and how it makes you feel.
      Note:- I am not a health personel, I just share my personel experiences.

      Great question and well done breasting. I must say am not a health personel therefore I would recommend that you ask your doctor or health personel following you up. I have personally used cloves in tea and different dishes in very small amounts while breastfeeding. But all in all ask your health personell.

      Monitor and follow up on it as we are individuals and react differently. You may consult your doctor and get more information as why you react to it.
