I really liked it how he started with a miss but didn't cut it I mean everybody misses I hate it when I watch videos from others teaching you how to shoot and all they show you is makes
Thanx for these vids you really developed me im a very elite scorer and a clamp defender from all ur videos my favorites are 10000 hours and the ballhandling workouts u really changed the culture and made me a very good recruit so i appreciate it a lot man
Oooo great idea for mid range drills! that is precisely my range. you got good pronunciation haha! i thought you were calling him "Son....." i only realised when you hit "yi" lol
Hey Dev! Thank you for the free content. That‘s really nice! One question: I tend to jump forward on my shot. How can I change that? Should I try to remove this habit or just stay with it?
Javan Russell for me, I kept shooting and training my shot and my confidence grew.. Then I also learned how to create space and shoot with awkward foot sequence and catches defenders off guard and thinking..
I feel unlucky because I’m a left eye dominant/right hand dominant. Is this a good thing for me or a bad thing? Context: as I said, left eye/right hand I’m 5’5”, weighing about 95-100 pounds. I have more lower body/core strength and not too much upper body strength I prefer a one motion shot Can anyone help?
Sorry to hear that. A while back I made a video about how I was able to pay for things that helped me pay for basketball stuff. If you get a chance check it out
Kobe was a volume scorer and isolation who was in his prime in one of the least efficient times in NBA history so naturally his efficiency stats are going to be on the lower end. He played a style that doesn't tend to generate a lot of easy looks in an era where easy looks were hard to come by anyways.
This doesn't mean that kobe was a bad shooter. We don't know what his numbers would be like in the modern game or would've been like if he had his prime in the 90's or beforehand.
“Add to watch later” who else saves all of devs videos
I'm more of a "Add to watch now" type of guy when it comes to Devs videos
Rayan Rayan Brooo I have a whole working out playlist 💯

Sometimes, seeing others make it makes my shots flow better. Don't know how it works but it does.
I love how he kept his video a 100% not cutting out the misses
I hear the Chinese counting from you dev 👏🏼
Imo mastering shooting and mastering footwork are the things that make the difference from good to great

Becoming a sharp shooter is very difficult because of the need for regularity, you can't learn it in a few days, you need a lot of time.
Please make a restock on your ITL Basketball Shoes! Lots of loves - A Baller from Malaysia 🇲🇾🙏
Great vid🔥
I’ve been binge watching waiting for the next vid
3 point pull up off the screen is tough, I tend to be unbalanced and mess up my shot form, any tips?
Can u do a video on the best layup drill u know
Please dev
Mikan Drill
all you need to do is do a layup run to the three pt line then drive and do a layup, do it until you make 20in a row then switch hands
Dev can you teach us how to shoot a two motion jump shot like yours, or is that already on the academy
I love how you don’t edit the shots you miss out the video
Smooth! Great demo
Shooting off dribble would be a great next lesson 🏀
Yeah. Devin does it so smoothly, he makes it look so easy. When you try it, it looks sloppy haha. The bounce drill.
Oooo great idea for mid range drills! that is precisely my range.

One question:

Stay with it,
it can give you an opportunity for an and-one and can also make you a 3 point shooter
LucLak13 lots of great shooter use this like Joe Harris.

Absolutely...it will be posted inside the academy in a few days

Do reps mean anything if your form doesn’t feel the same
Robert Christian yeah they do mean something...
Your form will naturally lock in once you get reps up

Javan Russell you really shouldn’t shoot a shot if they right on unless you have a quick realize

Kobe Bryant also had one of the poorest shooting efficiency as well. Not sure if hes a good example
He was also a 5 time champion and many people consider him the most skilled player ever so maybe he is a good example.
@@myfavoriteplay i'm talking about shooting-wise
@@Vibestr Yeah he took a lot of long 2s but it was common in that era. Doesnt mean he cant shoot
