hank you for this interesting description of Sacred Wood. I'm thinking about ordering this fragrance for the fall. I also really liked your review of my favorite summer fragrance, Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate by Hermes - a wonderful fragrance that is underrated in my opinion.
I scooped up the re-release. I do quite enjoy it and find myself reaching for it often because it works for everything. Totally get that coconut vibe you mentioned.
Milky sap! I get that too. Every time I see this scent, I picture Peter from FragranceView pouring real mysore into it. 😄 He's told that story so many times that I can't seem to get over the association. 🌳 Another great test Marc!
@@robes08 Thanks for the answer! If you can, someday review Irisss and Pikovaya Dama from Xerkoff. I like these two and wanted to know your opinion on them.
Hmmm I haven’t had this on my radar, may have to track down a sample. Just got my decant of Smoking Hot from By Kilian…might want to have that one on your list next, it’s quite good!
The only Killian I tried is smoke for the soul, I really like it, I don't think I need to get involved with the brand right now having A LOT of fragrances that I really want (need), maybe in the distant future 😆besides sandalwood and milky notes are not my cup of tea, the only Sandalwood fragrance that I've tried and really like is Le Galion 222. Thanks for the Test Drive Marc!!!
Great video kid! OK, I've never smelled Sacred wood. I was wondering have you ever smelled molecule 04? It's a sandalwood based scent. If so, is Sacred Wood's scent profile similar? Also how does it compare to Egoiste by Chanel, another sandalwood based scent?
I have not smelled Molecule. As for Egoiste, Egoiste has it's rough edges, from what I recall it had spices (cinnamon) and I would not compare it to this.
Thanks kid.........I would love to see your top vetiver fragrances..........vetiver is my favorite note. Your list doesn't have to be limited to vetiver, I would love to see your favorite amber, citrus or whatever note you want to feature!
I had a decant of Sacred some years ago and really liked it, but never got around to FB purchase. Not sure if it’s just me, but I’m picking up some similarity between this one and Amber Teutonic that I just received. I haven’t spent much time with AT yet (blind buy 🤑) so it’s possible my impression may change, but that was my initial take 😅
Thanks. I own Santal Blush and was interested in Sacred Wood as a similar scent to switch things up. Seems they are more similar than I imagined and would be redundant.
Best sandalwood fragrance ever (fact, not opinion lol) is Ensar Oud’s Santal Sultan. Unfortunately, it’s discontinued but if you can find some, BUY IT!!!
of course you'd write that. Don't think it's fair to compare Samsara to this tbh especially if you are talking about the vintage which you probably are.
What is you favo from this brand? I do not own any yet but tested and loved back to black, straigt to heaven , angel share, black fantom and the coffe one altho it reminded me of A men from T Muglier

Thanks for sharing!!
You nailed it! Ambrette seed is absolutely listed on the Saks 5th Av. Website for this scent. Good nose, Marc! And, yes, this is heavenly to me.
interesting that a retail store would publish a note that haven't seen online at all. So I'm not crazy then. Good to know.
Marc, you are the best in the game!!
Excellent, excellent review
Appreciate it!
Love this one... I also have an old original 'red letter' bottle like you have here... Simple but just so good... Very comforting for me...
exactly , well stated of simple but just so good.
Excellent break down Marc. This one escaped me 1st time around. Not this time. 😉 Thank you my friend.
Not this time lol , go get em'
Hey Marc, just choose one:
Sacred Wood or Xerjoff Richwood?
Xerjoff Richwood, and it's not even close.
Richwood

ohhh now I have to get this one! sounds perfect! Great review
Appreciate you coming by!

already on the list.
Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed night
Thank you! You too!
You welcome keep up the good work and thank you very much GOD BLESS 🙏
Dude your reviews are amazing! Subbed for sure.
Welcome aboard! 🫡

No problem my friend!

I love By Kilian. Back to Black, Single Malt, Noir Aphrodisiaque, Gold Knight, Apple Brandy, etc.
Good lineup there.

interesting take, both utilize woods tho so it makes sense.
@@robes08 yeah, Amber Teutonic is so much more though! Very complex and artistic. Love it!
Interesting you don’t think it’s very creamy. I felt it was super creamy. It’s extremely similar to Santal Blush. Like redundant to down both.
The Panda has spoken.

Great review ! thx😊
Thanks for watching!
I found it very resinous, like church pews.
love scents that smell like that.
The best one for me is Ex Nihilo Atlas Fever
We love your channel ❤️🔥
I love your decants lol

👍
Layer Amouage Meander on top of Sacred Wood and thank me later.
Sacred Wood beautifes the sandalwood drydown of Meander by 10x
I don't layer but appreciate the suggestion, perhaps my viewers will utilize it!
If you want a good sandalwood just get Guerlain’s samsara. It sweeps this off the floor
Epices volees as well
of course you'd write that. Don't think it's fair to compare Samsara to this tbh especially if you are talking about the vintage which you probably are.
Great video 📹 👍
Thanks 👍
One of the worst Killan fragrances
Simplistic perhaps, worst? I don't know about that but hey we all have opinions.
What is you favo from this brand? I do not own any yet but tested and loved back to black, straigt to heaven , angel share, black fantom and the coffe one altho it reminded me of A men from T Muglier
I have a soft spot for Back to Black only because it was my first purchase from them and I always felt it was the standout. So that's my pick.
@@robes08Thank you 🙏🏽😃 Back to black is an awsome fragrance
