Thanks for the video, I'll try your technique. My kid is only 1,5 months, so I'm wondering if it's safe or if there are any other extra safety measures I should take?
It is - so long as they're willing and able to either (a) lay still o your back for a few seconds and/or (b) hold on round your neck. Otherwise, do have a look at the Back Carrying playlist on our channel and try out some of the Hip Scoot methods for back carrying, which are great for big babies and small toddlers x
My daughter has mild cerebral palsy and fatigues easily.. you would never know by just looking at her. Please keep this in mind in the future when you see an older child being carried. This comment is for tro jansky
@@jessicairgens6018 You're the exception, not the norm. A lot of parents just carry their kids instead of just using a stroller or a wagon because of all of these weird ass new parenting styles.
@@spookytaco666parents carried their kids on their backs far before the wheel, much less wagons or strollers, were invented. If anything, not carrying your child around is the newer, weird parenting style. That being said, unless your child has a disability, the use cases for this carrier seem limited. I might use it on hikes that are too long for a toddler to walk the whole way, but not so long that a hiking carrier is necessary.
Airport, traveling, hiking, pilgrimage, crowded subways, a child who has a disability, the usage is endless. A 4 or 5 year old kid will still not be able to keep up with an adult all day, especially while traveling.
Finally! A video with a big kid
I have a 5YO with moderate cerebral palsy. This looks great
It really is :)
Do you have a link for the toddler carrier you are using?
Which design is this, preschool carrier or free to grow

Why would you want to carry that huge kid around, he's not a infant,he's not a toddler 😟
Clearly you just have a very limited scope of experienced and activities you do with your children

Well, I’m girl 168cm with 53kg but my bf can still always carry me🤣
Why watch and comment if your not interested in this!?! So much judgement and negativity around.
That piece of grey fabric hanging out the back. Whats thats for?
It's the hood :) Though to be honest Tulas hoods are fairly small, so it wouldnt fit over this kiddo's head ;)
@@hannahwallace8188 ohhhh. Yeah those are pretty small. Lol thank you!
