re decorating one of my rooms and now this room is my inspiration. Love how relaxing this space is I have been watching everyday in the morning while I sip my tea. Not a cat lover but like the little cat napping on the fur throw.
It's a rainy Sunday afternoon after church I and my family return home and we have a wonderful Sunday Dinner meatloaf, baked potatoes, fried okra, creamed corn, ice tea and for dessert chocolate cake, then after that we cleaned the kitchen and went our separate ways for the rest of the day, my wife is upstairs in the bedroom watching a romantic movie, the kids are in their rooms either watching TV or playing video games etc, my cat Spiffy is curled up asleep on the couch I'm in my recliner in the living room, reading and watching TV and drinking some coffee and watching the weather report, the fireplace is going really good and putting out a lot of heat and it is very comfortable now.... then it's starts to cloud up and now it's raining on a Autumn afternoon and Fall is around the corner, it'll be raining really good all of tonight into tomorrow afternoon, then it will taper off and the sun will come out, it's getting late so I'll turn in for the night, my wife has gone to bed and has already gone to sleep, the kids however are still up doing whatever kids do watching TV or playing video games or are on the internet and they will soon go to bed as they have to go to school tomorrow, Spiffy is still curled up asleep on the couch and that's where she'll stay all night, well good night and stay safe, warm and dry, and most importantly GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK'S.
If I could describe this scene in one word it would *Delicious*. I immediately wanted cozy up in the couch with a good book, listen to the cat softly purring, the pop and hiss of the warm fire and the gentle sound of rain as I slowly drift off to sleep. Yes, *delicious* is quite appropriate.
I live in the Sonoran Desert, Arizona, USA. We do not get much rain & when we do, everyone is so happy! Nobody complains because we need the moisture so badly. My favorite way to relax & fall asleep is when it is raining & a fire going in a fireplace. So soothing...
