Turntable maestro, DJ Angelo demonstrates the creative potential of the Reloop Jockey 3 midi controller and digital mixer by unleashing a truly hybrid style of performance which further blurs the boundaries of DJing and live music production.
In this complex showcase piece, Angelo fuses his renowned analogue turntablism skills with modern digital controllerism techniques, thanks to the extensive midi functions and mixing capabilities of the Jockey 3. In addition to manipulating digital audio with his hands, Angelo even incorporates the use of a microphone to seamlessly insert and beat juggle live beatboxing to create a multi-dimensional, multi-layered drumstep / drum & bass track - completely constructed and performed 100% live in 1 take!
In an attempt to utilise every tool at his disposal, Angelo pushes the Jockey 3 and Traktor Scratch Pro 2 to their limits by utilising 2 track decks, all 8 samples banks, 6 different effects, filter controls, and the internal loop recorder to record and assign live loops from both the turntable sources and microphone input.

I usually hate these kind of videos but damn bro, the creativity was very inspirational and when you dropped that jungle beat you got my admiration. Big ups on the use of vinyl with the new tech, just all around a great video. This is the type of video you show to those people who think DJing is just pressing buttons and doesnt take any talent.

He is using Traktor with 2 Track (Scratch) Decks and 2 Sample Decks and the Loop Recorder where he can take the Loops that he records and place them in the Sample Decks. The two Faders on the Controller are controlling the Track Decks(Turn Tables), where on the sample decks each of the 8 sample slots have their own Volume and HP/LP Filter Knobs, you can get a good look at the Sample Decks at 2:31, hope this helps :)
