God is great,I always praying in tongues and I also sing in tongues
while l was praying for the sick..l started to worship God,suddenly l repeatedly saying hallelujah l couldnt stop it .worshiping God there is a power forcing me to worship him louder and louder..l am so amazed and the joy of the lord is in me .tears start to fall ..thank you Holy spirit..l was baptised in the holy spirit since 19 81. commited my self to him.I didnt stop sharing his love till the end..

It's amazing. I started first time praying in tongues after this video. And "the words or syllables were just flowing till the point I started crying. It felt like I poured my soul to Christ, It felt like I was crying out to Lord about all the wickedness of this world. I remembered few words and translated them after prayer. One was maranatha which I later translated to "oh Lord come!" 😊amazing form of prayer.
I spoke in tongues today, thank you Jesus.

I used to speak in tongues everytime i prayed and i didnt understand what I was praying but i asked GOD TO LET ME PRAY IN TONGUES WITH THE UNDERSTANDING and he gave it to me now i can pray in tongues with the understanding
@Ezias during if the Lord unlocks it in your brain. I mean you hear your voice speaking but it's not coming from you mind or thoughts. Then if you say Lord I don't understand, He will open your mind to know and hear it in (English... or whatever your native tongue is). The meaning in your language will happen in sync with the tongues. Unless the tongs is already in your native language, which can happen too. So no interpretation is necessary then. Both kinds of tongues (of men and of angels) are possible.

Ever since I was Born Again, over 20 yrs. ago, I've longed to be able to speak in tongues. I went to a Benny Hinn miracle conference in Anaheim, CA, I had my church elders from Church On The Way (Jack Hayford), lay hands on me, pray with me, & I had a spirit filled woman pray with me, but every time, my brain hindered me, & nothing came out, no matter how hard I tried... I just froze. In my head, I was thinking about what it should sound like, concentrating, waiting for it to just flow, but nothing. I was very disappointed, disheartened, discouraged, & accepted that maybe I just wasn't one to receive this gift... that when/if God wants me to have it, He will make it happen, in His own timing, not of myself. This made me feel less intimate, inadequate, with God. Over time, I eventually got over it, & just worked on living a more godly life, praying, studying God's Word, memorizing key Scriptures for evangelism, writing/teaching/encouraging non believers, leading to salvation in Christ, anyone open, & willing to listen. Over time, I developed/was filled with all the fruits of the Spirit, to the glory of God/Christ.
You essentially described my story. And at Benny Hinn, I felt it there, at the tip of my tongue, so many praying over me, and just before it broke loose, they stopped. I recently finished my deliverance and self-deliverance, and have finally felt comfortable waiting for mine to be activated. I’ve had tremendous faith all these years, but realize I also had doubt “I was enough”, SMH. I have the Lord myself, and I’m happy, I may still want, but I’m truly good now, it WILL come eventually.
Benny Hinn is a fraud & lives with other women, rides roll Royce, he isn’t a Christian . Gouges shall cease & they did. Miracles shall cease & they did. Paul’s last miracle in 59 AD.
Last night i recieved many blessings from the Holy Spirit. One of them was my prayer tongue. I had been hearing it in my spirit for a few weeks but last night a spiritual mentor helped me to release them. It felt amazing and now it comes so easy. Just have faith and release

Yes! Submit your will, your emotions to the Lord. Don’t try to figure Him out, JUST LET GO. It may help you to look up the definition of humility or submission. Know God wants this more than you! Matthew 11:28

I always pray for my children before bedtime and I fell asleep next to my children after an hour or so I woke myself up speaking in tongues very loud. I didn’t understand, but I know it was powerful. Don't think fake .. Some groups forbids and misleads because you think like that some one put that thought to think like that.. Just ask Lord he will give this gift . All Good gifts and goodness spiritual and physical come from Lord Jesus Christ

As a 10 year I used to sing while on long journey on buses in ? Now I realise it was in tongues.... Learned Sunday school songs at church when small.... HALLELUJAH! Even there was great peace on those long journeys across from Europe to England when emigrating as Displaced Refugee.... My Father distributed Bibles, New Testaments, Gospels in various Languages after the 2nd World War. Thank you Lord Jesus!

I grew up Baptist, so we basically ignored the Holy Spirit altogether. Other than saying it’s a part of the trinity. I’ve been extremely skeptical about speaking in tongues, and it’s been so hard to break that legalistic thinking.

@ Melissa Sanders- I also was raised in churches that did not believe or preached against it as it was considered a sin! Both of my grandfathers were pastors at different churches- we are southern baptist & I went to a Pentecostal church a few times with my cousin & they were speaking in tongues and it sounded so amazing! I was filled with the Holy Spirit one day and my entire body started shaking & moving and for about 20 minutes I guess was what they said- I just continued to move and I can assure you something filled my body that day is all I’m saying. I didn’t speak in tongues, but if that was any indication of trying to release my gift- I have been 20 years waiting to do so. As I watched the video- it made me think of how much I miss them my family that has gone on. I had been through alot in life since the passing of my grandparents- and recently my mother & I know she was a very spiritual woman. I wish that I could have the ability to speak in tongues and also understand it as well.

Speaking in tongues is a gift from God if and when he chooses to give you it.
We receive all gifts from God / Holy Spirit by Faith. If one doesn't believe by faith that he can speak in tongues then he will never receive the gift.
You are so correct! God gives us the gifts he knows will work for him. Tongues cannot be taught. It is a special gift given by the Holy Spirit. 1st Corinthians chapter 13 tells us about tongues. And of course other places in the Bible. Amen Sister.

That’s true for ministry gifts. But the Holy Spirit was poured out on all flesh. If you are a born again believer this baptism is for you. Receive by faith! The purpose of it is to empower you to be an effective witness so you can do greater works for the Kingdom.
The gift of speaking in tongues is just that - a gift. You have to open the present to receive it. If we don’t receive the gift it’s not God”s fault. He wants his children to have the infilling of the holy spirit.

So yesterday before church service, my brothers and I were having this conversation about speaking in tongues and one of them thinks that the speaking of tongues is not needed in this age. The other also thinks we that speak in tongues are causing people who don’t speak to say what they don’t understand.
Infact they asked me some questions that I couldn’t answer them, but by the help of the Holy Spirit I knew I can have a teaching from Bro David Diga Hernandez that will explain everything there need to understand. One can only stir up that which IS, (gift). That part I am disagreeing with here. I still believe that every believer is not given all gifts. You mentioned the gift of WISDOM, that is manifested in our lives, by the fruitfulness.
@Lana Ebarb : I agree with you , (if I understand you correctly), the Holy Spirit dwells within us once we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, however, we differ on speaking in tongues. Jesus to the best of my understanding, never spoke in tongues and never recommend it, or required such, he said that he will go and send us back the Holy Spirit that will be an advocate for us and teach us all things, l do not know of any person who knows “all things” .. I personally believe that a committed Christian would possess and display the fruit of the spirit and quite frankly, that’s my measurements for where I am in my walk with Jesus Christ. I do have discernment / prophetic and I have actually experienced the Holy Spirit inter session, but I have never spoken in tongues. I do not believe that it means that I, or others like myself is less than and I have always wondered why there are not as many interpretations as there are speaking in tongues when that benefit is limited to the individual and the latter benefits the church... the scripture also said that one should be quiet if there is not an interpreter to interpret. That tells me that one does not have to be demonstrative in tongues because it’s between them and God...

I was told it was of the devil by family members and convinced me it was wrong because I had a learning disability. I went through a very hard time for years. I surrender to to God when I hit rock bottom .I asked God to give me more than what I had before. Tky for giving me the answers of 1corin 39.that is the defense I needed

I was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 16 speaking in tongues as the spirit of God gave me utterance. And now I am 76 and I have been speaking in tongues. The Lord gave me the gift of praying for the sick to be healed and that how the praying in the spirit works in my life and they are healed.

Bro when you said you have to relax you are so RIGHT! I was going to sing on a Sunday morning in front of 5000 people's, I was very nervous. I was setting on platform through opening prayer, praise and worship, and the whole time I was saying under my breath "God help me to yield" over and over the whole time. Now I am called up to sing, my intro is playing and I am still saying under my breath ' God help me to yield" And suddenly I heard a strong voice say inside of me " RELAXING IS YIELDING" I just relax and the anointing was there, at the end people stood up and began to praise the Lord!! So relaxing is yielding!! That was straight from the Throne!!

PRAISE THE HOLY TRINITY OF GOD! My pastor laid hands on me a few days ago to receive the Holy Spirit and I could feel Him bubbling up inside me but the few syllables I got out just felt forced. Until I watched this video and realized my ego was the problem, that I was standing in my own way was I able to pray in tongues! Thank you David, for such a clear understanding and explanation!
