I remember I went to a church with friends at 14 yo, and the evangelist said, If you want to receive everything God has for you then come down and we will pray for you. I had gotten saved. I knew nothing about the Baptism in the Holy Ghost. I couldn’t figure out what else I needed. So, I went down to get everything God wanted me to have. The ladies praying around me told me to lift my hands and start praising Jesus. I heard them speaking in a language I didn’t understand. I didn’t know what I was praying for, but I knew whatever it was I wanted it. I had been praying at the alter for a few hours. I told God, I will not leave this alter til you give me what I’m supposed to have. The next thing I knew, I heard someone close to me speaking in a different language. I was lying at the alter at that time because I was so tired. I thought, who is that. They were so close to me. Then I came to myself and realized it was me! I was speaking in my prayer language! As I realized what had happened, I begin to cry and excitement arose in me. I got what God had promised me! I began to speak louder and louder as the Lord Blessed me. The ladies around me were shouting and clapping 👏 I was so happy. I think we left after midnight that night. It changed my life forever. Praise His Holy Name.
The HS led me to red this testimony..i am blsesed more deeply with closeness with GOD.

My mom suffered from alcohol addiction her whole adult life. I took her to the ER 2 weeks ago for alcohol poisoning and withdrawals which includes tremors/ seizures. The day after detoxing in the ER, she relapsed and fell down the stairs while drunk and fractured her foot. I just began going to church learning about God and Jesus. Last week was my 2nd week going to church. I asked my mom to come with me and pray for her to be healed and remove the craving/alcohol addiction. She went to church drunk, the pastor said a prayer for her and others. After church, she didn’t have any withdrawals from alcohol, no craving for it, and her foot is healed! A miracle happened before my eyes. It’s been a week since this happened and I am still surprised by what I seen. God is good, Jesus is real!!!!

Watching a replay two years later and I’m healed from periodontist disease. I felt sand like feeling in my teeth as I prayed and received healing. Im believing for new growth in my gums and strong teeth with no gaps. I also felt the Holy Spirit come over me with a fresh fire that shook me and dropped me onto my couch. A few minutes ago , there were intence shivering throughout my body, with some heat going through my body. My entire body started to distorted and contract. I started to cough and choak. I raised my hand started to pray. Then my body returned to normal. I became aware, it was the power of the Holy spirit who was cleansing my body. Thank you God.

I have never even commented on RUclips before just now… I’ve been a believer most of my life from age 8 or so and was always preached to about the gift of tongues and that every believer should have it if they have the Holy Spirit but I never did. I lived from a place of shame in this area of my life wondering what was wrong with me, did I have the Holy Spirit or not? I was so tortured by this issue and eventually gave up and believed it wasn’t for every believer. I’ve also lived with intense paralyzing fear of using my voice and being in front of people my whole life. I’m now 32 years old, married have kids, and this is the first time I’ve prayed in tongues in the spirit! Thank you Holy Spirit! I have never heard this topic preached with such comfort and encouragement and reassurance and without shame or guilt. Thank you David, may the Lord bless you one hundred fold for how much your messages have blessed me and others and increased my knowledge, wisdom, and awareness of the Holy Spirit and scripture. I’m sick at home with a sinus infection and finally had the chance to listen to this full video and I just knew it had the potential to change my life.

After I said, "Holy Spirit, use me," and then uttered, "the spirit of the Lord," I experienced a sensation. My mouth trembled, then I cried, and I began speaking words I couldn't understand. It wasn't loud, but I knew I was speaking while crying. Then, I thanked the Holy Spirit and Jesus. I believe I have activated the gift of tongues, even though I haven't been baptized in water yet. Felt the power surge from my phone. It’s 3 AM & I was led by the Holy Spirit to work in the yard. I felt something eerie and looked up to 2 people heading my way. They stopped in their tracks, turned around & walked in the other direction. Remember my Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus that tares were sown among the wheat as we slept. A warm , very warm sensation positioned itself in my jawline or jawbone and warmth in my knee. The numbness in my knee is gone and my two broken teeth are being filled in. At least it feels like it. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit comes to live inside you. No person can give it to you and it's not hard to obtain.
Amen to that. If people just reads the Bible they will find all the knowledge and wisdom to know the Spirit of God. Actually the Bible is Christcentric and Jesus himself said that the work of the Spirit in us is to give testimony and point to Him, not the other way around. Jesus call the Holy Spirit the helper which guides you to all truth in Christ. I see all this guy’s videos about the Holy Spirit but Jesus is hardly mentioned (just incidentally to speak more about the Holy Spirit). We should be preaching Jesus 24/7 but the excessive and exaggerated preaching about the Holy Spirit leads to a Christless Gospel. The Holy Spirit is important as He is part of the Trinity and is God too but He have a very specific role in salvation as Jesus and the Father have their roles too.
Joh 14:25 “These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you.
Joh 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
Joh 15:26 “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me
Joh 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Joh 16:14 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
This is what Jesus himself said in the Bible. Very simple and easy to understand. Is all about Christ. Like the KJV only Christians this excessive emphasis on the Holy Spirit which relegates Jesus to the back seat can be dangerous and cultish because is not following the Scripture commandments and teachings about the centrality of Jesus’s person. After all there are four gospels and then the rest of the New Testament about the person of Jesus. We must strike a balance and be wise.

I've been going to a Pentecostal church since October last year, I've become born again Christian, I believe in God and Jesus. I've been listening to the books in the bible on the way to and from work. I go to church every Sunday. Been praying for my wife to beat her cancer and for my 2 children who I love very much.
