- This 1941 harley Davidson EL motorrcycle is ready to be put back on the road. This is the starting procedure for an EL Knuck. This classic pre-war motorcycle was restored in the early 90's and placed in a HD Museum. It is a stunning example of the beauty of the Knucklehead motor5cycle even though some say this has too much "Bling".

1:20 Am I the only one who thought he started this bike with electric start and it sounded like a quiet car? 😂
Me tt 😷💀
Hahaha 😁😁😁 yes yes
Beautiful machine black and chrome same as my 2014 Streetglide Shrine. When I see an old girl like that I always think about all the lifetimes that bike has seen out and yet here she is going up and down the street TIMELESS!❤️🇺🇸
That sure is a nice motor sickle
I think that there is more than one who dies of jealousy, this Harley is magnificent, personally I would pose two good solos seats and for me it would be the dream !
Extremely beautiful motorcycle
Motor sickle?
I love the guy starting up the 1971 Lada in the background. I kept expecting blue smoke.
Fuck the stupid lada
Beautiful bike, be careful riding old knuckles before warmed up a little, known to crack cylinder
The real deal! Beautiful
Wow it sounds amazing!
In the early 19th century when INDIAN MOTORCYCLE COMPANY tried to suppressed HARLEY DAVIDSON COMPANY..But, they couldn't you know why? Babe it's HARLEY DAVIDSON ❤️❤️ where the Davidsons brothers and Harley struggled vigorously around 3 decades ❤️❤️❤️
that sounds great
Awsome bike bro
Thanks for sharing that awesome ride
Love the way the seat goes over the tank on the older Harleys
Like the Indian ... oh, wait ... HD never copy something 😂😂
wow that is a stunning looking bike
HDsuperlow if you have to ask you can't afford
@@jdogldog5843 So where did he ask, smartass?
- belle machine !
En rouge c'est beau.
They don't get much nicer than that.
👍👍
very nice bike!
Beautiful bike!
I would have warmed it up a little as you said it was a cold start. Beautiful bike.
Absolutely gorgeous 🎉
Very sweet ❤
I had a 1999 fatboy she was very beautiful but them Harleys back in the ww I and ww 2 we awesome
Very Nice and a Thumbs Up !
a dream on two wheels !!
Fala! Tudo bem?
Legal o vídeo.
Bela moto, parabéns!
Abraço.
looks very nice
Nice bike but that seat!!! Looks like a ladies skirt, that would be in the bin for me.
I was thinking more like The Village People...
you dont know old harleys mav? theres a reason for that seat?
Totally agree. That seat looks like it once was owned by Liberace.
its big for a reason, 2 people sit on it you and your passenger.
Thats the christmas story leg lamp seat
There you go. No warming up.
That truly is a beautiful motor SICKLE. I always laugh when I see people riding bikes with short pants on. Hey where's your flip-flops.
You can definitely tell who has laid one down, and who aint
멋집니다...
너무 좋습니다...
2:23
When it first started, it almost sounded like a 2-stroke engine
sweet!
nice bike
Nice bike
Is cool man
nice bike 👍👍👌👌
They really had their own sound
When that lawn mower started the, all I could think was they didn't have electric starts then, and that knucklehead sounds like crap. Lol.
you dont know old harleys joe? thats ok your not old?
@@billgonzales2339 actually I've been riding a 73 Shovelhead for 9 years, I completely rebuilt my 77 Shovelhead, I did a full top end rebuild on my father's Panhead last year. Harley didn't have electric start until the 64. So I do know old Harleys.
Bello moto
I like harleys but i dont know why I dont like this one.. looks like it would suit a chandelier as a headlight and liberace riding it.
@MotorClassics It's the seat tassels 😂
No way that bike started that easy, even if it was cold, it must have been running earlier that day.
1:20 I thought it started 😷💀🇬🇧
I want it!
Is this a good starter bike?
Esta hermosa
Muy linda esa Harley y clásica .
Saludos desde Guatemala city.
Those tank badges are from 1946 I believe. The '41's were narrower. The red floorboard rubber has to go.
And honestly- You don't need no stinkin' badges. Nice bike!
Brain fart. I'm thinking Indian badges from '41. Must..get..some.. sleep...
motor sicle?
Look at the chrome
Can somebody tell me what year model is the most collectible or desireable knucklehead?
all prewar Knucklehead are probable most collectible. I do have a 100pt 1938 available.

When did 4-stroke Engine !???
The youtuber HuntingHarleys would Shirley be proud to buy that bike off of you
Awesome bike :-)!
Original saddle? Looks like the former Indian style...
Beautiful bike! Thank you for standing over the bike to kick it over. It bugs me a little when people kick from the side.
I now have to kick my Pan with my left leg as my right leg was injured but then again I'm 63 but still kicking and riding!
My Dnepr can only be kicked from the side weirdly
I've been wondering why this is so common! Almost questioned if I was wrong starting it normally (over the top)
cool knucklehead
He didn’t even let it warm up 😢
Ben’s TV most HD owner manuals state to spend no more than 60 seconds warming up the engine. Even says that in my Enfield 500 manual and my Sportster manual.
@@whatsstefon he did about 6 seconds
@@bonkeydollocks1879 he did. Ah well. Some people aye
@@whatsstefon you should be happy no? 6 second is less than 60 second, you should be happy for that no? 😷💀
@@bonkeydollocks1879 lol. Perhaps a little too extreme on the other end of the scale. Somewhere in the middle would be better. No?
Beautiful bike...for sale?
Is that a seat Or a sofa👍
Wow
Lindas essas motos antigas
Nice motor SICKLE 😂
Hey I Really like your Harley Davidson motorcycle & also how many years did you had it :-) ?
Iron American Dream on RUclips.
The song about Harley Davidsons and Brotherhood.
Matching numbers ?, There's no frame numbers until 1970... What are you talking about ?
Engine cases where numbered...both halves.
Just the engine number counts for the year, the frames had casting numbers only. Belly numbers were to match the cases, and above the rear mount are either 7's or H's. H's indicating high compression motor.
the jackel - Indians had matching engine and frame numbers
the jackel just
Nothing like letting it warm up!!
Better put it up.
Sounds like the narrator has been doing some kickstarting previously.
It just might be to nice to ride
Bad to the bone brother!
NIce Bike. AMCA is ruining the Harley's just like number matching and Bloomington gold has ruined Corvettes. You can have nice original bikes and vettes that don't have to meet peoples vision of correctness.
Ray Hill - I agree. AMCA perfection is too anal. the manufacturing control back then was imprecise at best.
No Harley today is any better than that 1941. I have an 02 softail CVO 1450, but I wish now I would have found a shovel head cruiser and either rebuilt it or bought a low mileage one. Its less things to go wrong and does the same thing. Nothing has gotten better for the consumer, but instead is more unnecessary junk to go wrong so that marketers can make more money
Your running out if fuel bro or you forgot to turn the choke off many of us still do that
The seat looks too high and the handle bar looks too low.
$80,000. bike?
Buyer: can I start it up and see how she sounds? Seller: Idk How much time do you have?
RUB!
And that was a car starting and pulling away.
how much is for sale?
One day i'm going to video something. There absolutely must be something amazingly hard about keeping a subject centered in the screen. Stray dogs, the sky, a parked car, and the all time most filmed...the ground. Why is it soo very hard ?
Courious in Missoula.
I guess it's the same way some people find spelling hard. Just saying (Curious)
There's less drama when they fire a rocket.
That SEAT si for an elefante ir wat
Thought he was gonna fall off it at beginning of his set off, lol
Foot clutch on left, shift lever on left of tank. Takes a little getting used to.
I can imagine how confusing that must be
Who starts that tractor in background 😡
No thx I like the new technology those old bike will leave you stranded to much, they are cantankerous and undependable...
You couldn't get one more piece of chrome on it..😂😂😂😂
Too bad its not original paint, but obviously an amazing bike!
I wonder how cops on old kick-start Harleys and Indians got them started quickly enough to chase a speeder. It bugs me to watch self-conscious, sweating old geezes gingerely kick-starting old bikes as if they are going to explode.
The criminals getting away back then also had the same issue? Lol. So everyone just stood around kicking their getaway bike.
Now I understand why it was kept in a Museum. Nice bike but a lot of money just to be looked at
This idiot was out of breath when he started filming. From 2 hours of trying to kick start with tennis shoes. Glad he did not drop this beautiful machine and hopefully it will get back to the museum and out of this Buffoons hands.
Someone's a little jealous
Well stated Scott, and very perceptive.....
He is panting , so he must be kick starting not walking , climbing stairs or anything he is old but yeah he is a idiot who trying to cheat
Way to much Bling......Chrome don't get you Home but it show make you look good broke down on the side off the Road ..........
great looking machine but get rid of that red stuff. why would someone do that.
It delivers 10HP
1:48 that sound from behind makes my ear bleed that might be the worst horrible vehicle on this planet...And the Harley Davidson (19 Knucklehead) was the legendary monster the last model production by the founder Harley and Davidsons brothers team ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Back ground noise ruined this video
Too much Chrome. At these years, (40's) Chrome was expensive, and many parts come painted in black. This Guy, IS Lucky about the engine start: could be a false ignition, and the kick-start lever knocking the leg very hard....
Beats todays crap
Background noise from hell!
jesus christ that seat
RUB LEARN TO CRAWL BEFORE YOU CAN WALK!!
Right😆😆😆
Start it and go eh? How not to start a knuck 101.
