Just letting everyone know, Evolve replaced the bearing or motor, I'm not sure which but it's all good now. I had to send it back because I had electrical issues after getting water ingress. Good service, no questions just got it back to me asap ready to ride. Thanks for all the comments and feedback.

i have a similar noise from mine ! I have the older motors , i thought the noise was from the big plastic gear moving around the bearing but now im not so sure ! I will need to remove everything like you did and see if i have similar movement !

@@2ndLastJedi what did they do for you? did they send you a new shaft or did you have to pay for one?

@@HarareMudzidzi Evolve where great! They gave me a repair number and told me to send the bad motor in, I did (express) and the next day they had a new motor expressed back, (so three day turn around) I removed and installed the motor myself, easy and fun to see inside the board.
I love my Evolve and really happy with their service. My board has done near 2000kms so having a motor go isn't too bad hey. But my battery is showing its age. I hope Evolve are good for battery replacements also!
