X77? I recently used that on a job and the pot life was terrible. It stiffened up after 30 minutes. I emailed Ardex about it but no reply. I’ve gone back to Bal products. Have you encountered any issues with x77?
No. Never
Sometimes you have to remix it again and use a little more water. It depends what you are sticking
I use ardex and I've found the same, pot life 5 hour's but stiffens up after half hour ,quick remix but it does seem to dry fast for slow set 😅
@@markashby9120 Since I posted this, I called Ardex technical support. The fella said that it’s best to use Ardex own bird cage style mixer paddle rather than helix paddles. Plus also to check shelf life date. Apparently, they have about one year shelf life and it has quite an impact.
