Congratulations on your RV! My husband and I have been RVing for 3 years now, and I remember how nerve-racking it was during our first few trips. Every little movement of the trailer felt like it was going to pull us off the road. After we got a few trips under our belt, all that movement became normal and not so nerve-racking, we know what to expect now. My only advice...take it slow! We don't make plans on our travel days; we don't push it and give ourselves plenty of time to get to our destination with no pressure and plenty of time to set up and relax. Enjoy your journeys, there is so much great adventure ahead!

We are definitely learning with towing! Right now we are taking our time with everything, that was great advice that we received early on. This weekend is our longest trip so far, only a little over an hour away but we will be taking is slow! Before we know it we will be where you are and giving the same advice. Thanks for stopping by!

You driving the camper for the first time was exactly my reaction when I drove mine. It’s so scary the first time! Lol

I let my wife order her own drinks too. That part made me laugh.

I will admit to not watching the whole video, I just watched your video on the bed rails and wanted to see them on the bunks and how you made the ladder. Any how glad to see you have a 2500 truck for this trailer the Jayco 32BHDS is not a 1/2 suitable trailer. I have a 2018 version of this trailer, it is great but not fitting us as much any more. I tow it with a 2019 F350 6.7 and it handles it well. I have a weigh safe hitch and have towed without the weight distribution hitch (normally only if I am going a few miles and my truck is rated to tow like that) that has read 1500 pounds on the tongue, I have cat scaled the tongue at 1400. I like the bed rails was looking as we are thinking of going up to the 355MBQS eagle 5th wheel and was thinking about the mid bunk for my only child (he currently sleeps on the j cube but that does not exist in the eagle. I do like the rails you made I might steal that idea

Steal away! There is so much to learn even at 3 years in and I'm finally more comfortable pulling the trailer. The bed rails are a must with kids and this is an affordable solution.
