I'm in awe. This is so thought-provoking. I think everyone can relate to this. That long pause at the end is so telling because at some point in life you realise that you get fewer and fewer opportunities, and then if you're lucky enough to get one more, you do exactly what the man did - you jump at it.
I'm not going to lie. This video gave me all kinds of anxiety lol. All day I have to tell my kids that doors are not toys. This really brought something out In me. 😆 That said, awesome video. I like the lighting especially. Keep up the awesome work!
Stunningly powerful, my friend. The fact that you wrote, directed, acted, lighted, and produced this riveting piece makes it that much more impressive. And memorable. You've given us a one minute look into the paralyzing power of fear. Thank you for this. And for getting up out of that damn chair that has held us all one time or another.
This work is incredible! I'm Brazilian and I try to get inspired, analyze and make my recordings. The message that the video brings is capable of awakening many people.
The man sitting in a chair and thinking whether to do or not. At some point in life we get a fewer opportunities and if you are lucky enough to get it with workhard and you do exactly what the man did, he take a risk and ready to face the situation.
tellement de chose sont été dites en une minute sans parole qu'il aurait été impossible de le dire avec des mots en si peu de temps .bravo .c'est brillant

@@beekau5009 just calm doen u know. What can possibly go wrong? Just know that the only person who matters in this goddamn world for you, whose opinions matters to you, is you. You are the audience. Do that business because You want to be rich or contribute to the world. The things i am saying will give you a mindset. Reality is, fear will always be there. Or just counter 'that' fear with your biggest fear- "Time is running out. Dont wanna die a nobody." Just make a routine, make mini goals, weekly goal. That this week i will do this, doing a small thing will give u confidence. Then when all the pieces are lined up, and u have joined them, then u will find yr fear is no more. Just take baby steps. Damn, felt this shit to the bones. I was just watching this for str€@m1ng BONA BONA by TREASURE. Lil bit of jumpscare at the end tho. Great work for a 1 minute film!!
God, that’s also a form of torture. I was so annoyed while watching. Reminded me of the old spoon short film without humor (again and again and again).
Thanks for watching! I’m glad this film moved you enough to comment. Our goal was to get reactions from people, however they interpret it. I could see having many opportunities and not taking them absolutely be torture as someone watches them slip by one by one.
I could feel this in my gut. If you don't mind, I'd love to share this video on my Facebook page. It's outstanding. It reminds me of a song I wrote called "Astray" - I made a video for it last year, but THIS is what the video should have looked like. I hope you won the competition.
Amazing. I've been watching a few one minute films for inspiration and this one is a right headscratcher when it comes to how you made it Would I be close if I guessed this was made in a theatre?
@@SeedCreative Thanks for sharing. That had me completely fooled. My first thought was you did this with stage lights The message behind the film is also very beautiful
@@CharlieKelly-ub5qw when we bought it I believe it was around $7500usd. Now they’re a bit cheaper as it’s an older camera. Maybe find one for around $3500usd?

this was by far, the most brilliant idea of a 1 minute short film that I have seen so far! Good work!

So far one of my favorite out of the selection. Amazing concept guys, best of luck!
I sooo love this video.. Message received, don't let your fear paralyze you, just do it!
Concept is very amazing! Get up and just go for every opportunity
This is actually such a genius concept to make a short film on. Although simple to watch, very complex to think about.

Best one yet. So simple yet complex, relatable and meaningful. Great direction and there was real tension by the end!
It's a nice short film .God opens an umbrella door for you and then closes it .Life is repetitive forever
Great use of the minute, very powerful. Well done!
This is great! Piecing mine together at the moment, fingers crossed its in the same league as this!
I submitted mine last night if you want to check it out, it’s called ‘Looking Up’. Yours is one of my favs for sure tho!

this isn't something to show film students. Show them actual good films
Wow I really felt this one. This one gave me some anxiety. The fear of failure/unknown is palpable.
It's really one of the best videos I saw! Good job man
Very good message with no dialogue. Great job!
Now *that* is excellent. And you could turn it into a horror film just by not giving it a title at all. :-)
👏👏👏
Really cool! I have to show that everyone.
