Hook actually has the highest dng ratio out of all of the destruction chrs, so they balanced new 5* destruction based on that. That's why you see most des unit today has insane dmg buff but not so much on the ratio of skills etc
Have you tried playing Seele? I think you should play Seele, she's the best dps, tank, healer, and buffer in the game. Whenever you proc resurgence she's basically two DPS at the same time, and since she gets buffs she's basically three DPS, heck might as well round up and call her four DPS! In addition since her trace reduces her chance to get hit by half, it means she reduces damage taken by a whopping 50%! Fu Who? Not to mention, you can't outheal Seele if theres no enemies to hit you, automatically making her better than Luofraud at sustaining. Seele will always be there for you and won't dissapear among a sea of butterflies like my dad did. In short, have you tried playing Seele?

When it works, you know you've won the lottery.

I built a 10.5k HP Hou Hou I recommend it strongly, she heals 2.8k HP and and is an absolute tank. Her basic attack damage scales off her health so with relics that give crit and crit damage she can do 10-12k hits with her Q.
