I recently purchased a baby loop from Ml&S. Works perfect with my Icom IC7300. I have fitted the optional RS232 card and linked it to the radio through a CT17 radio interface. I am well pleased with the performance of this product. Also recommend using a rotator (Yaesu 450C)
Hi, just got my Baby loop up and running with a rotator. Few pointers: without this video to set up the controller I would have struggled, the online manual is great for the antenna but not for setting up the controller. when I first got going I was finding the motor was failing, I thought it was because my wire was too long (30M) but I used and right bore and checked the voltage each end which was OK. It seemed to be the polarity at the controller, it does not say which is which but on switching round the wire the problem disappeared. Only been scanning for an hour or two and I am getting very good SWR readings 1.1, 1.3 max. Although my End feed long wire antenna seems to pick up more signals which is surprising me.
