The layer after layer of metaphor in rrr is astonishing.... The fact ram transfer the idea of flag( a huge bigger cause) and bhim giving him the child( a symbol of local identity / Indigenosity / a counter balance to one who overgoes for one single agenda) ... Awesome
Just realized that Bheem immediately understood Raju's instructions with the hooking gesture is because it was foreshadowed in the water intro with he himself doing it with literal hooks on a rope (which breaks, but still he was able to hold off the tiger). The rope itself comes back twice, all times having opposing forces at each end. Also how Raju picked him off among all the crowd like he did with the stone throwing guy in his intro(them wearing colors that stand out among browns help too). Amazing how all these little setup and payoff things adds up to the experience!
Also Raju is giving Flag to Bheem as he’s sharing his mission to Bheem and Bheem is giving kid to Ram indicating that he’s sharing his mission with Raju.

I am Afghan and I watched many Indian movies already. But the last few years were quite dissapointing and I grew apart from the cinema. But this movie brought back the love for indian cinema in me and I remembered why in the first place I loved it: a good story, real emotions, values, not trying to be western, proud of its rich asian and indian culture and lots of action and comedy. Keep going India, show the world what you have to offer.
