what kills me about the first episode, is how the woodsman tells them to keep north, and they walk off towards the setting moon-throwing themselves off the proper trail
I don't know if you grew up on the melody time cartoons like i did, but it gives me that feeling. Like older classic cartoons that communicate a lot through song and music
can’t wait, i’ve been obsessed with this show since i first saw it when it aired on cartoon network and have since shown it to all my closest friends, one of them who ended up being my fiancee still says me showing him this and him seeing my excitement and love for it made him fall in love with me. and we still rewatch it every year :3 i can’t wait for you guys to go on this journey ❤
6:25 This little comment made me look up the voice cast. While Greg does _not_ share an actor with Chowder (Chowder is played by Nicky Jones, and Greg is played by Collin Dean), he *does* share a VA with Lincoln Loud from _The Loud House_ (from Season 1 Episode 23 to Season 3 Episode 18) *and* Tiffany from _Adventure Time_ (only his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th appearances, though).
The painting-like quality is something about 2-D animation that I kind of miss. I like modern 3-D but for the kind of artsy or folksy type vibe this is going for this feels better. Richer. I guess this is the tenth anniversary so I'm pleased to see more channels react. (I was going to say more, but that got spoilery.)
@@BloodyNosePhantom ehh not really cause then everything will click better watching in one go. Doing parts leaves it open to get spoiled or forgetting certain things
Pottsfield name is a is a reference to a A potter's field, also known as a common grave, is a term for a place for the burial of unknown or impoverished people who could not afford marked graves. so all the skeletons were the unknown or unwanted but in the afterlife they can spend all their time together and happy I find That Beautiful this episode also show a character trait of wirt very well He constantly needs to understand something sov to get to a town to getting help something is his natural instinct but going to Adelaide the witch something that's completely out his real house he is naturally going to be more resistant to. I also love how the towns people were creepy but not evil - I'm going to love seeing your reaction to the rest of the show and you dog is so cut
👀👀👀You guys are about to have so much spooky Halloween fun!!!!!! This show is a modern classic. Can't wait to watch with you! I see that library of other cartoons you've got going on....might have to check that out when I get the chance!
GREG IS BEST BOY I'm so excited for y'all to watch this, this short little series is an absolute masterpiece. I'm going to neglect to say anything about the series to let y'all cook with the theories, this show is prefect for that. I love how absolutely savage Beatrice is though.

Uh oh 😂
I got lost in the woods once, the moon gets a little quirky when you're lost in the woods.
@@TheKsalad i live in the woods, i understand that. but north is still north, and is away from the setting moon
As much as this is "terrifying", this show gives me more on comfort, coziness, and a bittersweet feeling that I cannot describe.
It feels genuine.

Be careful with your comments guys, there's a guy here who left 2 comments that spoil the entire show

OTGW is one of those cartoons that I would describe as “perfect”

Hell yeah this is gonna be epic
Shows like this, consisting of 10 ten-minute episodes, should be binged.
With respect hard disagree this show is meant to be digested slowly
